[player_tooltip player_id="358760" first="Charlie" last="Johnston"] showed a ton of potential last fall for Mountain Brook. As a freshman, Johnston looked like a natural under center. Standing at 6’5 175, Johnston stands tall in the pocket, has a powerful arm that can make some high-velocity throws, and can read the field especially well. Some of the throws he makes are incredibly impressive, the accuracy he delivers the ball with makes tight-window throws look easy, and his targets never have to adjust themselves to the ball. Recently, Johnston received his first offer from Pittsburgh, and with this talent, there’s surely more on the way.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="242279" first="Kameron" last="Keenan"]</strong>- |6’2 190| |Ramsay| <em><a href="https://twitter.com/keenan_kameron">@keenan_kameron on Twitter</a></em></span>
[player_tooltip player_id="242279" first="Kameron" last="Keenan"] has some great tape on display from his freshman season. Keenan has a rocket launcher of an arm that really helps his team stretch the field, and his ability to make plays under pressure is second to none. When the pocket collapses, Keenan stays calm, eludes defenders, and delivers the ball to move the chains. If needed as well, Keenan has the mobility to scramble for necessary yardage. Overall, he has a lot of great things to his game already, and heading into year two, it’ll be exciting to see how both he and Ramsay will perform this fall.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="242280" first="Jameson" last="Scissum"]</strong>- |6’1 165| |Etowah| <a href="https://twitter.com/JamesonScissum"><em>@JamesonScissum on Twitter</em></a></span>
[player_tooltip player_id="242280" first="Jameson" last="Scissum"] is a talented athlete that could end up producing really well the next few seasons at QB for Etowah. Last year Scissum was able to show some great things on film, he has the ability to accurately and quickly deliver the ball to his receivers, can see the field really well, and has the mobility to extend plays when under pressure. With what he presented last year, look out for his sophomore season- he has the tools to be a great playmaker under center.
