Adam DuVall – ATH – Marquette
Starting with DuVall, he truly did it all last season being a big part of Marquette’s offense and defense. Offensively, he caught a few passes in the flat and used the sideline to speed past defenders and score. Defensively is where he truly shined, having good instincts at OLB/DB with a few great hits and interceptions. I would love to see more of what he can do when it comes to shedding blocks on the edge.
Nic Nora – WR – Kingsford
Nora is a great 2023 WR from Kingsford. I’m surprised by how polished his game is, as he’s a deep threat who can go up and grab 50/50 balls. Nora has some of the best hands I’ve seen, and he’s also a threat after the catch with some decent open-field moves. Nora is coming off a great basketball season, and I expect him to put on a show this Fall.
Benjamin Johnson – RB/DB – Escanaba
Either Escanaba has some great talent coming up, Head Coach Dave Wilson has prioritized Hudl or both. Whatever the case, Benjamin Johnson is a great talent out of Escanaba. On the offensive side, he’s a powerful runner who can find holes even when the play breaks down. Defensively, Johnson has good footwork and general fundamentals, and he had a few interceptions off embarrassing throws.
Aden Cariuty – G – Escanaba
It’s pancake after pancake for Cariuty, and while standing at 6’4″ 265, he has true college potential. His main draw is power, as once he gets his hands on a defender and drives, it’s over. Cariuty will be dominant against all regular-season opponents, but if he wants to play college football, he’ll need to clean up the fundamentals quite a bit.
