The Prep Redzone Next Northeast showcase popped off last weekend, with athletes from 10 different states taking part. Athletes from as far away as Texas traveled to compete with, and against, many of the top 2026-2028 prospects in the region. Here’s a look at the Quarterbacks who were named to the All-Showcase Second Team.

Made the trip to New Jersey from McKinney, Texas, which is a half hour north of Dallas. As I’ve previously mentioned, guys I’d classify as dual-threat don’t always get to show out in camp/showcase situations because of structure, but Phillips impressed regardless.

A promising up-and-coming signal caller, Foulke brings a very calm approach to the Quarterback position. The south Jersey seventh grader showed off some pretty good accuracy throughout the day. Once he gets stronger, we’ll start to get a clearer picture of his ability.
<strong><img class="alignleft wp-image-346139 size-thumbnail" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2022/05/AnwarWitherspoon-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" />Anwar Witherspoon | 2026 | New Jersey</strong>
Passed the eye test right away when he walked onto the field at the showcase. Measured in at a little under 5-foot-10 and 168 pounds and carries a good build. My analysis on Witherspoon stayed the same after the showcase. He’s very raw fundamentally but has all the physical tools and potential.

Saw Lewis a few weeks back at the Gamechangers Showcase where he had a nice day. The competition was a bit stiffer at the Prep Redzone Next Showcase in terms of numbers and talent, but Lewis again more than held his own. Very strong and accurate arm. Once he grows--watch out.

A taller, longer Quarterback, Magley had a very nice showing. He’ll be off to Saint Joseph Regional (Montvale) next year, a program that has 17 state titles, most recently in 2018. Magley, who is also a standout in baseball, threw a beautiful ball but was also clocked at a 4.4 in the short shuttle.

Rust is originally from Rhode Island, but is moving to Florida for high school. He’s another Quarterback that passes the eye test pretty quickly at nearly 6-foot-1 and 189 pounds. Also ran a very impressive 4.75 in the forty yard dash. From what I observed, had a lot of other kids gravitate towards him.
