from Randolph has an impressive skill set, especially showcased on his tape. Standing out immediately is his deep ball accuracy, both outside the numbers and over the middle of the field. His deep throws are among the most catchable in the state, consistently giving receivers opportunities to run under the ball in stride.
Another strength is his pocket movement. Jackson evades pressure and uses his movement to create passing lanes. This ability to extend plays while staying poised is a valuable trait. While he’s still developing, his deep ball and pocket awareness are his standout attributes. With continued growth, Jackson is poised to elevate his game further in the upcoming season.

was one of two quarterbacks to got significant burn and looked like a capable quarterback who is also capable of much more on the football field. As a standard drop-back passer, Magley appears relaxed in the pocket, and at his best, can hit his target in stride. Aided by a quick release, defensive backs do not have much of an opportunity to break on the ball. Under the duress of a crumbling pocket, we see the junior keep his eyes downfield until the last moment when he decides that there is no more time to buy. All this speaks to his capabilities his standard quarterback skillset, now let us address the “much more” part of his game. Often times Randolph featured two quarterbacks on the field at any given moment. First, Magley was used in the return game, taking one to the house. This demonstration of speed also was utilized on jet motions from the slot and option plays. A good runner, Magley’s dynamism and versatility is sure to spur on the imagination of offensive coordinators.

is one of the more underrated QBs in the northern part of the state. Jackson has the potential to elevate Randolph to the next level in 2024. Jackson has a cannon for an arm. Coming out of his drop back, Jackson drives powerfully off of his back foot and delivers a ball with a ton of speed behind it. Jackson’s arm allows him to reach the far ends of the field, giving him the ability to out throw coverages and have all of his receivers available as targets. I am very impressed with Jackson’s confidence in throwing into tight coverage, delivering the ball to the receiver right where it needs to be and out of reach of the defender.
Jackson is not strictly an arm talent either. Jackson can take off with it for big gains when the opportunity arises. Jackson’s longer legs allows him to out run the defenders once he gets into the open field. Jackson is primed for some big performances this fall.

is the second quarterback in our Up Next series. Playing for St. Joseph’s in 2022, Jackson is another quarterback with great size for a freshman. Standing at 6’1″, Jackson is another pocket passer with a little bit of running ability to go with it. He is able to use his size to his advantage when running the ball, and runs hard when he needs to. There isn’t a ton of film yet for Jackson, however, from what he was able to accomplish in 2022, you can tell he is on the right track to success. He has one of the faster releases on this list, able to laser the ball in like he’s throwing a fast ball. Jackson has a very high ceiling, and he will made huge jumps towards it in 2023.
