Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties continue to produce linebackers at a high clip, but there are always hidden gems that fly under the radar.   Here are some talented backers who deserve some more attention heading into their senior season.    Strong tackler that oftentimes knows where plays are going before the snap. Augustin hustles to the football and often makes plays when seemingly the play is over.   He hits the running lanes quickly to disrupt and has a nose for the football. There seems to be another level of strength and speed that Augustin could achieve, and with that, coupled with his natural football instincts, could produce a multi-year starter on the college level.     This athletic linebacker is a do-it-all defender. Champion can cover well in space and get his head around to make plays on the football.   The fast linebacker makes plays on special teams, blocking multiple punts in his junior season, and can make hard-hitting open-field tackles. He displays great lateral movement and is able to shed blockers to get to ball carriers.     The versatile defender can play strong safety and linebacker at a high level. A strong tackler, Jackson is not afraid to inflict his body on ball carriers.   He takes good pursuit angles to track down the football and gets to his destination more often than not. Jackson surveys the field as if he were the only defender on the field and is consistently around the football.     The solid linebacker is reliable in both the run and pass games and can make plays in big moments. The patient defender, Reid, watches plays develop before striking and reacting, often making a timely impact.   Reid does a great job of avoiding initial blockers in his pursuit of the ball carrier. Attacks the football with a hunger that coaches like to see from linebackers and is relentless in his pursuit of the football.     Vance is a highly productive linebacker who makes his presence felt on nearly every play. He wraps up well on tackles and is rarely out-muscled on plays.   He has the strength to drive blockers backward and is elusive enough to avoid human obstacles entirely. Offenses must account for Vance or succumb to violence from the fast linebacker from South Miami-Dade County.
