<strong>ORANGE PARK FLEMING ISLAND</strong><strong> 2022</strong> <strong>Head Coach:</strong> Damenyum Springs <strong>2021 Record:</strong> 6-5 <strong>THE GOLDEN EAGLES</strong> After losing three of the first four games to start the 2021 season, this is a program that put it into gear, and with the help of tremendous coaching and solid talent, it was good enough to make the playoffs. While the playoffs ended after one game – losing to 7A power Gainesville Buchholz, there was a stretch that had this football team believing that they could play this game at a high level. With wins over Orange Park Ridgeview (43-14), Ponte Vedra (20-6), Jacksonville First Coast (41-28), Jacksonville Atlantic Coast (21-12) and Orange Park Oakleaf (49-34), there was a sense that 2022 would be something special – and every player, coach and fan feels that way.
