Overall at Northern California event, the quarterback position was a strong bunch with accurate and strong armed talent that could rip it downfield. With the likes of Power Five recruit [player_tooltip player_id="190430" first="Luke" last="Duncan"] in attendance, there were also some top emerging stars and young talent that showed out and proved they are next in line to be emerging stars across Northern California.

2023 [player_tooltip player_id="190430" first="Luke" last="Duncan"], Miramonte HS
Duncan was the top passer in attendance and proved he has the length, size, athleticism and arm talent to be a very successful Power Five quarterback. Currently holding offers from UNLV, SJSU, Cal, Penn and SDSU, it should not be long until be starts gathering national offers as he is a no brainer one of the top quarterbacks in the Western Region.
2023 Maddox Varella, Oak Ridge HS
Varella had a very nice showing at the night session and is very athletic and can accurately spin it on the run and throw across his body. He has a quick release and can fit the ball into tight windows while able to scramble outside the pocket and gain yards on the ground if needed. He is poised to have a breakout Senior season for Oak Ridge and should do very well in the always competitive SFL.
2023 Nate Bell, Liberty HS
Bell was one of the top three quarterbacks in attendance and as usual, did not disappoint. He is one of the top signal callers in all of Northern California and showed good touch downfield and arm strength on intermediate throws while also having elite athleticism and running ability outside the pocket. He should once again be in the upper echelon of Bay Area quarterbacks during the 2022 season.
2024 Dominic Ingrassia, San Marin HS
A top 2024 Bay Area quarterback, Ingrassia was as good as advertised and is going to be a special talent over the next two years at San Marin High School. He is extremely poised in the pocket, has a high football IQ and very good arm strength for a kid his age. Look for Ingrassia to be a Varsity starter sooner rather than later.
2025 [player_tooltip player_id="289870" first="Dallas" last="Munn"], Rocklin HS
Munn was very impressive and worked his way to the night session after being one of the top underclassman quarterbacks in attendance during the first session and really separated himself. He can push the ball downfield with good spin and has active feet in the pocket with good movement abilities. Physically developed, he should make a big impact for one fo the top Northern California teams.
2026 [player_tooltip player_id="217861" first="Caedon" last="Afsharipour"], Saint Ignatius HS
The incoming Freshman is a true pocket passer with very nice mechanics and good size and length for an 8th grader. He has a strong arm that can stretch the field and puts good air under his throws while throwing his receivers open and showing good ball placement in tight windows. He should compete for a varsity spot by no later than his second year at SI.
2026 Berell Staples
Another impressive 2026 kid, Staples is very athletic and although more of a pocket passer, he can run if needed and is very smart when standing in the pocket. Having a strong understanding of the game, he moves through his progressions and is very accurate when on the run while not losing much arm strength. Wherever he ends up going to high school, he will make an immediate impact on their program.
2026 [player_tooltip player_id="283609" first="Devin" last="Rasmussen"], Saint Marys-Stockton HS
Rasmussen is one of the most talented passers in the 2026 class across the region and is only going to continue to develop and get better. Another quarterback that was as good as advertised, he currently holds offers from SJSU and FAU. In the pocket, he shows good feet and lateral movement abilities while having a quick release and a very strong arm on underneath throws and possesses good throwing mechanics, especially for his age. Over the next few years, he will be a force within the strong San Joaquin Section.
