We are taking a look at how some of the top football prospects from the 2023, 2024 and 2025 classes performed during the two-day meet.
2023 PROSPECTS
Joshua Manning Joshua Manning 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR Lee's Summit | 2023 State MO , Lee’s Summit
One of the top prospects in Missouri in the Class of 2023, Manning, a wide receiver, finished second in the Class 5 long jump with a distance of 24 feet 5.75 inches and took second in the Class 5 triple jump (48-05.00).
Tony Terry Jr., Jackson
One of the top defensive ends in Missouri in the Class of 2023, Terry finished fourth in the Class 5 shot put (54-01.75).
Kendrick Bell Kendrick Bell 6'3" | 175 lbs | QB Park Hill | 2023 State MO , Park Hill
One of the top quarterbacks in Missouri, Bell finished sixth in the Class 5 high jump (6 feet 4.75 inches).
Noa Isaia Noa Isaia 6'1" | 215 lbs | LB Seckman | 2023 State MO , Seckman
Isaia, a linebacker/edge rusher who has had a breakout offseason with his track and camp performances, finished second in the Class 5 discus with a toss of 174 feet 9 inches.
Eli Youman Eli Youman 6'6" | 235 lbs | TE Blue Springs | 2023 State MO , Blue Springs
One of the top tight end prospects in his class in Missouri, Youman finished seventh in the discus in Class 5 (161-02.00).
Justin Selbert Justin Selbert 6'4" | 260 lbs | OL Eureka | 2023 State MO , Eureka
One of the top offensive linemen in his class, Selbert finished eighth in the Class 5 discus (159-01).
Deion Brown Deion Brown 5'8" | 170 lbs | RB Kirkwood | 2023 State MO , Kirkwood
A Division I running back prospect, Brown finished eighth in the Class 5 300-meter hurdles with a time of 39.76 seconds.
2024 PROSPECTS
Ryan Wingo Ryan Wingo 6'2" | 200 lbs | WR St. Louis University High | 2024 State MO , St. Louis University High
The top football prospect in Missouri in the Class of 2024, and one of the top prospects nationally, Wingo had a strong weekend in his second appearance at the Missouri track championships.
Wingo helped SLUH finished second in the 4×200 relay and took third in the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash with two outstanding times that both set personal records. Wingo ran the 100 in 10.55 seconds. He ran the 200 in 21.31 seconds.
The 100 and 200 finals were both run with the wind at the back of the sprinters. There was a wind rating of 1.3 for the 100 finals and 2.5 for the 200 finals, which both contributed to strong times.
Kendall Gurley Kendall Gurley 5'9" | 160 lbs | DB Francis Howell | 2024 State MO , Francis Howell
Gurley, one of the top cornerback prospects in Missouri in the Class of 2024, finished fifth in the Class 5 long jump (22-09.25).
2025 PROSPECTS
Ryver Peppers Ryver Peppers 5'10" | 175 lbs | RB Fort Osage | 2025 State MO , Fort Osage
One of the top running back prospects in Missouri in the Class of 2025, Peppers finished seventh in the Class 5 long jump with a leap of 22 feet 3.75 inches. He was the only freshman to finish in the top 16 in the Class 5 long jump.
Justin Thurman Justin Thurman 6'0" | 175 lbs | RB Tampa Jesuit | 2025 State FL , De Smet
Thurman, one of the top athletes in the 2025 class, finished 11th in the Class 5 100-meter dash prelims with a time of 11.55 – running into a 3.7 headwind. (For reference, Wingo ran a 11.15 running into the wind in the same race.)
Thurman had a strong track season and established himself as one of the top 2025 sprinters in Missouri with a 100-meter dash PR of 10.87 seconds. On Monday, he announced on Twitter that his father had accepted a job in Florida and he would be transferring to Tampa Jesuit for his sophomore year.
