DE/OLB [player_tooltip player_id="336842" first="Carter" last="Davis"], 2023
Davis has had a very productive Spring and has gotten some FBS and FCS offers recently from the likes of Navy, Idaho and Idaho State. The talented pass rusher is a big time mismatch on the edge and is an elite defender that can cover in space and play tough against the run. Without a doubt he will be one of the top pass rushers across the state this Fall and his commitment to play at the next level will be closely watched.
OLB [player_tooltip player_id="336935" first="Eli" last="Mikita"], 2024
Mikita will lead the linebacker core for the 2022 season and perfectly fits the mold of new age second level defenders that need to not only thump in the box, but cover and play in space. He is extremely athletic especially for being a 2024 prospect and should have a true breakout season in 2022. FCS+ schools should start to show interest in the coming months and he is a no brainer offer kid at that level.
WR [player_tooltip player_id="336840" first="Ian" last="Duarte"], 2023
Duarte is an explosive and quick playmaker that can move around and effect the game in different ways. He is quick twitched with strong hands and explosive in the open field while able to make big plays underneath and go over the top as well. He holds a P5 offer already from Arizona and also boasts offers from Idaho, SJSU and Fresno State.
RB [player_tooltip player_id="336867" first="LeRoy" last="Hull"], 2023
Hull is one of the top backs in the state and a very patient runner that waits for his blocks to develop and sticks his toe in to get vertical quickly. He is tough to tackle in-between the tackles showing strong contact balance and natural forward lean. Going into 2022, he will be a big part of a very strong run game and should also display his pass catching abilities out of the backfield.
RB [player_tooltip player_id="336865" first="Deegan" last="Martinho"], 2023
Martinho is another big time back that Eagle has and shows extremely quick feet through the hole and can explode into the open field with little to no crease. Through the first level, he shows good vision in tight windows while quick enough to cut back against the grain and maintain a vertical path. He also shows he is very dangerous in the passing game and is a high IQ kid that understands pass protection and block development.
DL [player_tooltip player_id="336884" first="Kall" last="Renner"], 2023
Renner is a bit undersized but extremely athletic and technically sound for the position. He shows a quick first step and gets underneath pads quickly while exploding through contact and quickly getting off blocks without giving up too much ground. In the passing game, he flashes a quick use of hands and can flip his hips and get vertical quickly while showing good COD and closing speed in the short area.
