With that, I’m resuming this weekly news segment, which will ideally release at 12:00 pm every Sunday (but this may look a bit more like 12:00AM). In this Newsletter, I’ll be highlighting some of the biggest events that occurred in the Michigan Football world this past week!

In likely the biggest news of the week, Dante Moore Dante Moore 6'2" | 210 lbs | QB Detroit King | 2023 State MI went viral with his incredible Notre Dame visit photos. These photos blew up my social media, with many national publications detailing these insane photos.

Grand Valley State Junior Days continue
The Lakers continue their Junior Day recruiting weekends. Athletes from all across Michigan have been visiting GV and in general, I’ve seen Grand Valley do quite a bit in terms of athlete and coach outreach, bolstering their in-state recruiting odds. If you’d like my two cents on GV, I love going to school there and they’ve got some of the best athletic and academic facilities out there.
Thank you, @CoachOlsonGVSU @CoachLouisGVSU and @CoachMitchGVSU the rest of the coaching staff for an awesome junior day! pic.twitter.com/w1cIxLzTcE

Detroit MLK moved to D4, school plans to petition to play in D3
One of the best and most storied teams in the state, Detroit MLK, has been moved from D3 to D4 due to total school enrollment. Expectedly, the school plans on fighting this classification. No matter how this plays out, this is an extremely interesting story that will have a profound effect on the Michigan High School Football world. Although D4 has some great programs, King would immediately be the favorite to win the state championship in this division, and I don’t think it would even be close. It’s also notable that King was a D2 school in 2019.
