Tennessee Future Stars Nashville Standouts – Line & WR/DB’s
Tennessee Future Stars kicked off their first tryout out of four in Nashville at Ensworth Frist Campus. While there was a lot of talent showcased on Sunday, here are the standouts in the Wide Receiver, Defensive Back and Lineman positions.
Kamar’e Hamilton | Defensive Back | 2028
His progression through drills was smooth and focused for a sixth-grader. He was quick on his feet demonstrating above-average footwork for his age and size. His discipline was easily seen as each drill was completed. Hamilton expressed a desire to learn and he will be a huge contender as he progresses through middle school.
Maximus Curry Maximus Curry 5'9" | 150 lbs | WR Blackman | 2028 TN | Wide Receiver/Defensive Back | 2028
This 6th-grade stud is versatile in his play on the defensive and offensive sides of the ball. His explosiveness works to his advantage when finding open spaces. I think he could be an asset as a wide receiver or defensive back. His speed and acceleration off of the line is vital when picking off defenders and getting interceptions.
Fletcher Fields | Wide Receiver | 2027
This young man has athleticism and size in his age group. On the offensive side of the ball, he is able to outrun his defender through his quickness. Has a strong ability to adjust and run routes to make space for the quarterback. Demonstrated strong flexibility in his upper body to reach for the ball to make difficult plays.
Jerry Martin III | Offensive/Defensive Line | 2026
The technique and quality seen from Martin III was exciting to watch. He had an above-average ability to drive and create holes in the running game. His athletic ability and high motor is what allows him to compete at a high level. Any team would be lucky to have a player as relentless as Martin on the field grinding for them.
Jethen Harper | Offensive Line | 2026
One of the strongest guys on the field both physically and mentally. He had great focus and attention to his stance and positioning when on the line of scrimmage. His blocking ability shined through on 1v1s creating little to no space to rush the passer. Would be a great anchor in the role of a guard on the offensive line.
Aiden Quinonez | Offensive/Defensive Line | 2026
His size and strength ranked high on my list following the day. For a guy of his size, he was able to not only get low but stay low when up against his opponents. He could play both sides of the football well blocking at a high level and getting off his spot to rush the quarterback. I see a lot of potential from Quinonez and expect a good amount of progression going into the fall.
Ahvare Galbrecte | Defensive Line | 2027
Galbrecte had a vision way beyond his years. His willingness to put his body on the line to rush the quarterback was impressive for his size. The instinct behind every move furthered the separation between himself and the offensive lineman helping him make big plays. He was not afraid to put it all on the line during 1v1s showing his determination and grit.
