That being said, scroll down below and check out the stock risers on the offensive side of the ball.
RB, Michael Thomas III, Donovan Catholic
Mr. Thomas is a 6’1 180 pound back that can shred defenses apart. He has the ideal size and athleticism to compete at the next level. Thomas is only a freshman and has already received his first offer from West Virginia University. He is a versatile athlete that can play numerous positions on the field. Thomas has the ability to create mismatches when utilized as a receiver. Also, has the speed to create separation and strength to withstand hits. In his first season, he has seen varsity action and rushed for four touchdowns. He can also be a used a return specialist as well. You should expect his workload to increase in 2022. Make sure you keep your eyes on this kid as we get closer to the season.
RB, Da’Von Craft, Neptune
Mr. Craft is a solid athlete that is just scratching the surface of his true potential. Craft has good speed and runs with good vision. He is patient and doesn’t hesitate when he sees an opening. Craft is the type of player that can play a huge role on special teams such as a return specialist. In 2021, he rushed for 117 yards on 11 carries and two scores. Craft will most likely be the starting running back this season. That being said, he will have the opportunity to showcase his ability on a nightly basis. In fact, he was the MVP of Coach Schuman’s Showcase as well. Craft understands what it takes to be successful and you can expect him to be a key contributor on 2022.
OL, Peter O’Mara , Pingry
Mr. O’Mara is a sophomore who has the size and athleticism to make an immediate impact at the next level. Standing at 6’7 300 pounds, he has received multiple offers from Princeton, Lehigh, Harvard and Georgetown. He has adequate strength and long arms to seal off defenders. O’Mara has a quick first step off the ball and easily pushes defenders back. He has a good understanding of leverage and concepts by the defense. He can easily recognize stunts and blitz as well. O’Mara is dominant in both run and pass protection easily getting to second level using his typewriter feet to stay in front of fierce pass rushers. He has proven he has what it takes to play at the next level and will continue to do so. Any program in the country would love to have this guy on their team.
TE, Jack Comeau, Bergen Catholic
Mr. Comeau is a solid athlete and team captain. He has a solid build that grabs the attention of college coaches. Standing at 6’3 235, Comeau moves very well at his size. He has natural hands and is great run blocker. Comeau is used in many different ways sort of like an H-Back, where you will see him in the backfield and split out wide. He runs precise routes and is quick and sudden in and out of his breaks. Comeau has earned his first offer from Princeton University. In 2021, he finished the year with 11 receptions for 160 yards and one carry for 3 yards. He has traits that coaches can’t teach but you can expect his number to improve for his senior year. Make sure you keep your eyes on Comeau.
