He completed 69 percent of his passes for 3915 yards and 52 touchdowns with just two interceptions while leading his team to a state championship. He is 6-foot-6, throws one of the best deep balls in his class and can throw from multiple arm angles.
Leatherwood also had an offer from San Diego State. He is the second commit in Nevada’s 2023 recruiting class, joining Inglewood defensive back Jaden DaCosta Jaden DaCosta 6'1" | 185 lbs | DB Inglewood | 2023 State CA .

Murrieta Valley interior offensive lineman Jason Steele Jason Steele 6'4" | 275 lbs | OL Murrieta Valley | 2023 State CA announced his commitment to Boise State on Tuesday.
Steele is a 6-foot-4, 270 pound tackle who has the athleticism to pull and play either guard position or center. I saw him at the Under Armour Next All-American Camp and he performed very well in the 1on1 pass blocking portion of the day.
He keeps his hips square, replaces his hands quickly and has fast feet. After the camp, he told me he was planning on visiting Boise State and Fresno State in March and April.
Steele chose Boise State over seven other schools that offered him, including San Jose State where his brother plays. He is the third player in Boise State’s 2023 recruiting class and the first lineman.
100% COMMITTED… Let’s Ride Boise!! @AABroncoHC @Coach_TKeane @MVNighthawkFB

Centennial (Corona) defensive back Aaron Williams Aaron Williams 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA announced his commitment to Louisville on Thursday.
Williams had 31 offers including Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma and USC among others.
He is a lengthy corner at 6-foot-2 and has the speed to stay in the hip pocket of receivers in man coverage. He is physical and does a good job setting the outside contain while defending outside runs.
Williams is the fourth player from Southern California to commit to Louisville in the 2023 class joining St. John Bosco’s Pierce Clarkson Pierce Clarkson 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA and Jahlil McClain Jahlil McClain 5'10" | 180 lbs | WR St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA and Inglewood’s Jamari Johnson Jamari Johnson 6'5" | 250 lbs | TE Inglewood | 2023 State CA . He told Greg Biggins of 247Sports that those local guys committing made a factor in his decision.

Long Beach Poly class of 2024 linebacker Dylan Williams Dylan Williams 6'3" | 205 lbs | LB Long Beach Poly | 2024 State CA announced his commitment to USC on Monday.
I have Williams ranked as the No. 2 linebacker in his class. He had 48 tackles, 11.5 for a loss, two sacks and two fumble recoveries as a sophomore last season.
Williams chose USC over 10 other schools that offered him including Arizona State, Muchigan State, TCU and Utah among others. He is the third player from California in USC’s 2024 recruiting class joining Aaron Butler Aaron Butler 6'1" | 170 lbs | ATH Calabasas | 2024 State CA of Calabasas and his Long Beach Poly teammate Jason Robinson.
He is around 6-foot-3 and one of the most athletic linebackers in the state. He moves well laterally which helps him in pass coverage. He was excellent in the 1on1 passing drills at the Under Armour Next All-American Camp but he excels when the pads come on at stopping the run.
