Both teams brought their 18U and 15U teams to get work in preparation for the tournaments.
The 15U teams consisted of current freshmen from the class of 2025 and incoming freshmen from the class of 2026. This article will look at six two-way players from the 15U teams who stood out during the scrimmage.

Basinger’s stock has been rapidly increasing during the offseason, and the scrimmage was no different. He is a two-way athlete who made show-stopping plays as a safety and wide receiver. He made a few spectacular catches as a receiver, including a touchdown reception where he high-pointed the ball with two defenders draped over him in the endzone on the night’s final play.
What stood out the most about Basinger was his abilities as a safety. He displayed good eyes and fluid movements, complemented by his explosive breaks and willingness to play the ball in the air. He had a few pass breakups and interceptions where he would bait the opposing quarterbacks into attempting throws by giving receivers just enough space to make it appear as if they were open. Basinger was one of the more impressive players from the 15U group during the scrimmage, and he has been consistently proving himself to be one of the top safeties in his class.
Isaiah Glaspie | Arapahoe | 2025 WR/DB
Glaspie is an explosive athlete who quickly managed to garner significant attention Wednesday night. He has crafty releases and shifty movements that make him extremely difficult to cover, especially against press-man coverage. His ability to create separation comes from his quick acceleration out of his breaks and overall speed.
In addition to being an outstanding receiver, Glaspie also showed impressive skills as a cornerback. He is a physical player who can reroute receivers with aggressive jams. Glaspie is an exciting player to watch, making him one to watch during his high school career.
Denzel Trusty | Columbine | 2025 TE/DE
Trusty has the making of a future top-tier prospect before his time in high school is over. There are no defensive end positions in 7-on-7, but his overall athleticism allows him to fill a linebacker position and drop into coverage as a defender. During the scrimmage, he made a few plays by staying overtop of routes while moving his eyes from receiving threats to the QB. Trusty stood out while playing as a linebacker, but he also proved to be equally dangerous as a receiving target on offense. His size and strength make him difficult to jam at the line, and his athleticism helps him make contested catches for just about anywhere on the field.

[player_tooltip player_id="212246" first="Jadyn" last="Irving"] | Cherry Creek | 2026 ATH
Irving is a highly-talented athlete who has proven to be a difficult opponent on either side of the ball. He has great size for a cornerback, and he. He has the versatility to play physical press-man or drop back into coverage as a ball-hawking member of the secondary. His size and speed make him an ideal target in the passing game for quarterbacks. Irving will be an incoming freshman this fall, and he has proven himself to be a stud on both sides of the ball.
[player_tooltip player_id="251307" first="Jamir" last="Ford"] | Thomas Jefferson | 2025 DB/WR
Ford is a scrappy player who brings lockdown energy to the defensive side of the ball. He is a physical corner who is very patient when using feet-first techniques while playing against a receiver’s release. He does a great job of maintaining leverage and staying glued to the receiver’s hip when in man coverage. When playing zone coverage, he plays the deep threat first, then switches to the shallow threat quick enough to close windows and disrupt plays. As a receiver, Ford is explosive off the line and quickly gets out of his breaks while getting his head around to locate the ball and secure the catch.
[player_tooltip player_id="251311" first="Joel" last="Yeboah"] | Thomas Jefferson | 2025 DB
Yeboah is another young cornerback with serious lockdown potential. He has fluid movements and solid techniques that allow him to be successful when playing in man and zone coverages. During the scrimmage, he showed outstanding instincts by managing to be wherever the ball was when it was thrown to a receiver in his vicinity. Yeboah is a radar pop-up who has the potential of becoming one of the top cornerbacks in his class.
