Pine Creek is a dominant program with a good group of athletes from the 2024 class. A good portion of the varsity starters from this past season will be returning this fall, and a significant amount of those players will be entering their junior years.
The Eagles had an explosive offense run by a senior quarterback, but the dominant offensive line is where it all begins. The highly talented front was comprised of three sophomores who are technicians of their craft. [player_tooltip player_id="143636" first="Matthew" last="Jennings"] (G,C,T), [player_tooltip player_id="220428" first="Carson" last="Caplan"] (G), and [player_tooltip player_id="316725" first="Tristan" last="Randall"] (LT) were excellent in pass-pro and setting run blocks, making them a highly-talented offensive line core.

[player_tooltip player_id="143647" first="Marquis" last="Williams"] (RB) and [player_tooltip player_id="296706" first="Kai" last="Goetze"] (TE) are two offensive weapons who benefit from having such a phenomenal offensive line or add to it in Goetze’s case. Williams has excellent ball carrier vision and hits holes with force. Goetze is a sure-handed receiver with strong route-running skills and solid size.

Defensively, the Eagles have one of the more dangerous secondaries thanks to [player_tooltip player_id="146050" first="Ramon" last="Pacheco"] (CB), [player_tooltip player_id="316721" first="Cannon" last="Budge"] (CB), and [player_tooltip player_id="146074" first="Leyton" last="Robinson"] (SAF), who, together, accumulated over ten interceptions and four pass breakups last season. [player_tooltip player_id="251228" first="Jaiden" last="Anetone"] (ILB) and [player_tooltip player_id="251217" first="Mason" last="Miller"] (OLB) played significant roles for the Eagles from their linebacker positions. They both tallied two sacks apiece, while Miller ended the season with one interception, one pass breakup, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery.

In addition to the players listed above, there are a plethora of young players among the ranks that are worth being excited about, like [player_tooltip player_id="251280" first="Justis" last="Nicholson"] (ATH) and [player_tooltip player_id="146075" first="Luke" last="Zimmerman"] (RB,LB,LS).
Pine Creek had a relatively young squad that finished with a 10-3 record and a trip to the playoffs. They reached the third round before falling to the Chatfield Chargers, who went on to win the 4A state championship. This fall, the Eagles will be moving up into the 5A classification as part of a state-wide restructure that will move a bunch of teams to different levels. With their talent, the Eagles are poised to have outstanding seasons for years to come, regardless of the competition that is put before them.
