Next season we’ll be able to watch some incredible 2026 talent under the Varsity lights. Now, Michigan has some extraordinary talents coming up that have been getting national attention. On the offensive end, we even have a player with offers from Michigan and Michigan State! While he’s in 8th grade! So here’s an overview of
QB: [player_tooltip player_id="212358" first="Corey" last="Sadler"]
Already with offers from Michigan and Michigan State, [player_tooltip player_id="212358" first="Corey" last="Sadler"] is one of the most exciting prospects in Michigan. He’s a massive name to keep an eye on as he’s dominated the competition to this point with his athleticism, accuracy, etc. You need to be a potentially generational player to receive such an early offer from Michigan and Michigan State, which is what Sadler is.
RB: [player_tooltip player_id="284009" first="Colby" last="Bailey"]
Another prospect with national praise, [player_tooltip player_id="284009" first="Colby" last="Bailey"] has had flashes of greatness. He’s one of the fastest young athletes in Michigan and sports great acceleration + power, and blazing speed. I couldn’t find much more info on Bailey, but I know that he will be a star.
OL: [player_tooltip player_id="284013" first="Jevon" last="Jones"]
Standing at 6’4 250 in 8th grade, [player_tooltip player_id="284013" first="Jevon" last="Jones"] is a physical beast. He’s naturally strong, and his size allows him to dominate just about anyone going against him. This is a huge name to watch (literally and figuratively), and I can’t wait to see how he develops and adjusts at the High School level.
WR/ATH: [player_tooltip player_id="212359" first="Isaiah" last="Harris"] - Saline
"Too fast for linebackers and too physical for corners to lock down." That's what National Scouting Director had to say about Isiah Harris, a soon-to-be Saline Hornet. He’s been playing all over the field, and it will be interesting to see precisely what Harris plays in High School. He’s currently 6’2", 180 pounds, so he’s looking like a great WR, LB or DL right now, with potential for TE if he gains a few more inches.
TE: [player_tooltip player_id="284017" first="Tristan" last="Comer"] - Freeland
Standing at an incredible 6’7 in 8th grade, [player_tooltip player_id="284017" first="Tristan" last="Comer"] is heading into High School as an immediate impact player. He can already block quite well, and he’s good at catching the ball. Next season, Freeland will be an outstanding team, and Comer is a talent to watch.
