Happy Easter! Yesterday was the Prospect Showcase, and we had a ton of offensive linemen show up and show out! In this article, I’ll be going over the three offensive linemen that changed the game!
Ryan Ross Ryan Ross 6'3" | 310 lbs | OL De La Salle Collegiate | 2024 State MI – West Bloomfield – 6’3 310
Unsurprisingly, Ryan Ross Ryan Ross 6'3" | 310 lbs | OL De La Salle Collegiate | 2024 State MI won the OL MVP award as I think he won every single 1 on 1. Just look at the tape below; Ross has sound footwork with great hands, and he never panics. He was always balanced with fantastic footwork. This is a big testament to Ross’s body of work during this offseason and the work the West Bloomfield coaching staff, among others, have done. With Ross working his tail off this offseason and West Bloomfield facing a grueling schedule year after year, he’ll only continue to improve.

Davonta Love Davonta Love 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL Chippewa Valley | 2024 State MI – Chippewa Valley – 6’2 300
“I gave up one sack last season. I can’t give up a single sack this season.” Davonta Love Davonta Love 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL Chippewa Valley | 2024 State MI proved himself yesterday, as he dominated the competition. He was a nightmare for defensive linemen all afternoon, and if I had to guess, I’d say he tested well individually (those numbers will be released sometime this week). Like West Bloomfield, Chippewa Valley plays some great programs year after year so that Davonta Love Davonta Love 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL Chippewa Valley | 2024 State MI will be consistently challenged.
Evan Curtiss Evan Curtiss 6'4" | 260 lbs | OL Fowler | 2024 State MI – Fowler – 6’4 275
A LOT of eyes were on Curtiss yesterday, as he’s a lesser-known name at a lesser-known school. He could be spotted from a mile away, as he’s a massive, imposing lineman with an excellent body for a tackle. Overall, coaches were impressed by his abilities.
Now diving into his performance, he performed how I expected him to perform. Evan was unstoppable against bull rushes, and he proved to be a very powerful lineman, though his technique suffered when it came to better speed/finesse moves. Still, he wasn’t bad against speedier athletes, as there are multiple instances against faster linemen where he won. But then, Lawrence Tech Head Coach Avantee Mitchell and I decided to test Evan against Tyler Dosh Tyler Dosh 6'0" | 225 lbs | DL Davison | 2024 State MI . It was then where Evan’s inexperience with pass blocking showed, as he became off-balanced with sloppier hands/footwork when presented with speed. Although Evan can get messy with his pass sets, I know he’s been working incredibly hard this offseason and will receive a rankings boost.
Camden Pawlick – Saline – 6’2 195
Heading into the showcase, Pawlick was an athlete I had just heard of. He’s a freshman (C/O 2025) who has just moved to Michigan from South Dakota. I’m going to be honest, he’s a bit of a raw prospect who needs to build some muscle and improve on technique. Though Pawlick impressed for a 2025 lineman. During the showcase I could see players get down on themselves or shy away from better competition, but not Pawlick. He went up against some of the best linemen of the showcase, both on the offensive and defensive sides. He’ll be at Saline where he’ll have great opportunity to grow into a great Varsity lineman.
