The QBs of 2024 have shown out this offseason, with many competing in various 7-on-7 tourneys these past few months, with others being invited to more exclusive camps, with even more playing winter/spring sports. Today I’ll quickly be going over four more ranked 2024 QBs, discussing their offseasons!
[player_tooltip player_id="249012" first="Reqez" last="Nance"] - West Bloomfield
Being the starting QB for West Bloomfield comes with high expectations, and I’m seeing a young athlete who isn’t backing down. After a significant but not outstanding 2021 season, I’ve been very impressed by what I’ve seen Requez Nance do this offseason. He competed extremely well in the Legacy Midwest Tournament, and he’s seen with improved throwing mechanics, accuracy, and IQ. Expect a boost in the rankings for Nance.

[player_tooltip player_id="252599" first="Colton" last="Kinnie"] - Seaholm
Kinnie received some early praise in the 7-on-7 season, and lately, he’s been having what seems to be an excellent Baseball season. He’s the guy for Seaholm, as Head Coach Jim DeWald has praised Kinnie time and time again for his skill and leadership. I’m optimistic for Seaholm’s large 2024 class, and I hope they can band together and make the playoffs next season.
[player_tooltip player_id="207193" first="Alek" last="Wickstrom"] - Grand Rapids Christian
Wickstrom started the offseason nice with a couple of great 7-on-7 performances. I’ve seen a bit less of Wickstrom than some others, but his 2021 stats plus offseason competition speak for themselves. GR Christian was a good team last year with a playoff victory, and if Wickstrom continues to improve, so will the team.

[player_tooltip player_id="188030" first="Connor" last="Wolf"] - Grand Rapids Catholic Central
I’ve never heard so much about a Sophomore QB who hasn’t started on Varsity, and I in no way mean that in a harmful manner. Wolf is set to be the starting QB for a heavy state-championship favorite, and the more I see of Wolf, the more confident I am that he’ll succeed. Recently [player_tooltip player_id="188030" first="Connor" last="Wolf"] attended the All-American challenge in North Carolina and, before that, competed in the Legacy Midwest Tournament.
