SS Brady Lederer, Amador Valley HS
Lederer excels at his strong safety position and flashes good ball skills and in the box physicality in run support. Having a strong understanding of zone coverage and his responsibilities, he has a quick trigger when breaking to pass catchers and a natural nose for the ball with return ability. He is rangy on the backend and comes downhill quickly with nice closing speed and open field tackling ability behind the line.
WR/DB RL Miller, Sacred Heart Cathedral HS
Miller is coming off a state championship and has very nice length and size for the next level. One of the best two way players across the Bay Area, he has impressive Junior tape and will have a huge Senior season. Off the ball he is explosive and physical while able to create immediate separation against pressed corners and has a huge catch radius and strong hands downfield. Able to make contested catches, he shows good high point abilities in the red zone and has the long speed to take it the distance while running physical after the catch.
SS Drew Ramos, Marin Catholic HS
Ramos is a compact free safety with in the box range and physicality while flashing natural instincts when jumping routes and scanning the entire field well. He is a turnover machine that has a natural knack for getting the ball out and making big plays in run support and in the pass game while playing the strong safety position like it should be played. He is not afraid to take on bigger blockers and blow up pullers when off the edge and takes good angles to ball carriers in the open field while covering ground when playing single high.
DL Trent Carrade, Marin Catholic HS
Carrade is one of the more underrated defensive lineman across the Bay Area and should fit nicely at the 3-tech position in college. Kicking outside at the high school level as well, he is athletic for his size and a technician against the run game. Carrade shows good first step twitch and heavy inside hands while creating immediate knock-back and violently shedding bigger blockers and out leveraging his target. In pass rush, he has a few speed and power moves at his disposal while understanding his lane responsibilities and is a strong tackler in the box. More of a vertical player, he will continue to develop lateral movement abilities through the final year of his prep career.
WR/DB Robin Boyd Robin Boyd 5'11" | 160 lbs | DB Pittsburg | 2023 State CA , Pittsburg HS
Boyd is one of the most under-rated defensive backs across the region and a Div. I caliber player. Although a bit undersized, he plays big and is a tremendous athlete with fluid hips and impressive ball skills with return ability. In transition, he does a nice job at using the sideline as a defender and has good recovery speed when trailing and PBU abilities. Able to track the ball well in the air and high point over bigger receivers, he is poised for a huge 2022 season for one of the top teams in the state.
