Athletic player that has good downhill burst, has the ability to wade through traffic and find the football, plays on the offensive side of the ball at tight end and shows natural hands and pretty good speed in the open field. He’s also one of the best long snappers in the state. He’s the leading returning tackler for Steinbrenner with 77, he also registered eight tackles for loss, 1 int, and three forced fumbles.Very active linebacker makes a lot of plays, shows really good short-area burst and quickness to get to the football, shows some pop in his tackles and demonstrates good instincts in coverage, has sideline to sideline range, shows good agility in the open field to redirect and get to the football. He shows the ability to be able to translate to safety at the next level. He has an outstanding 5.28 GPA and a 1240 SAT! Powerful player that is quick off the snap and can collapse the pocket, has surprising speed for a player his size in the open field, relentless in pursuit and never gives up on a play. Could play on either side of the ball at the next level. He plays for one of the best teams in the Tampa area in Clearwater Central Catholic. He’s the returning leading tackler and finished with 63 stops and 1 int. He shows good football IQ and reads plays quickly, trusts his eyes and plays with no hesitation, he’s very good off the edge timing his jumps to get into the backfield, has ability in coverage and shows he can flip his hips and run with receivers and get his hands on the ball. He’s an All-State player with a 3.5 GPA.
