Gabe Karstaedt | 5’11” 170 lbs | Riverside High School | Class of 2023
Karstaedt is the top returning receiver in the state , in regards to yardage. He finished the season with 883 receiving yards, averaged 22.6 yards per catch, had 40 receptions, and scored 9 touchdowns. He was named 2nd Team All District for his efforts on the field. Riverside’s football team struggled last season and Karstaedt looks to turn that around for his senior campaign. His play on the field and 3.4 GPA will attract recruiters, and currently he is receiving interest from William and Mary.
Ezekial Wimbush | 6’2” 215 lbs | Stone Bridge High School | Class of 2023
Wimbush’s finish to last season was something that you usually only see in Hollywood. He caught the winning TD pass on the final play of the game in the State Championship to put his team up 27-21 over Maury, and to give Stone Bridge the repeat as State Champs. He finished the season with a total of 811 receiving yards on 34 catches, averaged 23.9 yards per reception, and scored 12 touchdowns. He presently has offers from Fordham, Howard, Monmouth, and Charlotte. He is also receiving interest from JMU, Virginia Tech, Maryland, App State, and UVA.
Evan Harrington | 6′ 180 lbs | Lake Braddock High School | Class of 2023
Harrington was a key piece in Lake Braddock’s offense this past season. He tallied 716 receiving yards on just 30 receptions, had an amazing 23.9 yards per reception, and saw the end zone 12 time. His play making ability earned him All District honors and he was also named High School Player of the Week by The DC Touchdown Club in October. He led the Bruins to a 9-3 record and a 2nd round State Playoff appearance.
Tylryc Coleman | 6’3” 175 lbs | Dan River High School | Class of 2023
Coleman is an athlete who dominated on both sides of the ball for Dan River this fall. On offense, he amounted for 699 yards, had 36 receptions, averaged 19.4 yards per catch, and caught 7 touchdown passes. Not only is he one of the players returning in receiver yardage, he led the state of Virginia in interceptions last season with 7 picks. He is currently receiving interest from Davidson, JMU, and Bucknell.
Diarmid Stewart | 6’6” 195 lbs | Blue Ridge High School | Class of 2023
Stewart performance this past season left him showered with accolades. He was named 1st Team All State, 1st Team All County, 1st Team All Central VA, and 1st Team All VIC. He had 695 receiving yards, caught 34 passes, averaged 20.4 yards a reception, and scored 13 touchdowns. Stewart , a two sport athlete, also plays Guard and Wing on the Blue Ridge basketball team who won the Div II State Championship this winter. The 6’6” junior receiver is presently receiving interest from James Madison.
Jordan Tapscott | 6’1” 170 lbs | Kettle Run High School | Class of 2023
For the 2nd year in a row Tapscott has been named 1st Team All District and 1st Team All Region as a Wide Receiver. An all around athlete, he also earned 2nd Team All District honors in Basketball. Tapscot finished the season with 47 receptions, 849 receiving yards, averaged 18.9 yards per catch, scored 12 total touchdowns, and ran for 57 rushing yards on only 3 carries. He led the team to back to back District Championships this past season, is receiving interest from VMI, Liberty, Kent St, Ohio, NC State, and Coastal Carlolina.
