As we dive into the 2024 class of athletes, just like the 2023 class, it’s stocked with talent at the skill positions. Quarterbacks, wide receivers, and defensive backs carry the talent in this class, and there is no shortage of athletes who will be playing on division one stages. As we comb through the rankings here are some of the new additions that should be poised to put on a show in their junior years. [player_tooltip player_id="306093" first="Marshall" last="Washington Jr"], Woodrow Wilson, ATH Washington Jr is one player in this class who can play two positions at an elite level. He earns the ATH tag because when it’s tough to decide which position you should play when you’re so good. Why not market yourself as both? Standing at 6’2 170 he is a bigger player who is a fluid and smooth mover. A long-limbed player who can make contested catches as a wide receiver and alter the catch point with his length as a cornerback. He will need to add more weight to handle situations at the line of scrimmage as a corner and a wide receiver. As far as physical traits he’s not lacking in many areas.

[player_tooltip player_id="306093" first="Marshall" last="Washington Jr"] Woodrow Wilson Tigers class of 2024 CB pic.twitter.com/sonf1ccQ2J
— Marshall Washington (@Marshal66319153) June 19, 2021

Class of 2024 DB @marshall_glizzy 602 / 170 , Woodrow Wilson NJ
Will be attending the April 30th PSR Combine. pic.twitter.com/kAynca5G0B — PSR Combine Series (@ScoutNickP) February 22, 2022

Head hunter💯 #6 pic.twitter.com/RvBgCSTfNq
— [player_tooltip player_id="306093" first="Marshall" last="Washington Jr"] (@marshall_glizzy) October 10, 2021
[player_tooltip player_id="220088" first="Kenyon" last="Massey"], St. Joseph Regional, WR PrepRedzones number one ranked wide receiver. Massey is a shifty wide receiver who runs great routes. He’s at the top of the wide receiver rankings and new to the list due to his uncanny suddenness, tempo changing on routes, and play after the catch. There isn’t another wide receiver who plays with the suddenness and change of direction ability as Massey does. The way he manipulates the tempo of his routes, put you in the mind, similarily, to a guy like Jerry Jeudy. He obviously, has a ways to go to even sniff that level, but he shows some of those same traits that it takes to move as a top wide receiver. He’s listed at 5’10 185 so we have to see how he handles physicality, but with offers from Syracuse and Rutgers, he has division one colleges recognizing the talent he possesses.

St Joseph Regional came to compete today against Bergen Catholic. NEVER underestimate the ability of a team to improve and compete against great teams. QB @lukehenrich_5 and WR @KenyonMassey opened up with this play. @SJRFB @prospectnys @BrianHawkins4 pic.twitter.com/tomMfhsCrB
— All Northeast (@All_Northeast) October 16, 2021

YAC💪🏽 pic.twitter.com/wvrol5g6Qm
— [player_tooltip player_id="220088" first="Kenyon" last="Massey"] ¹ (@KenyonMassey) October 12, 2021
[player_tooltip player_id="220096" first="Tareq" last="Council"], Toms River North, WR At 6’3 170 Council is a 50/50 ball savant. Is often seen making spectacular catches with his uncanny leaping ability and physical play at the catch point. He has solid footspeed and the ability to make plays after the catch He has all the physical tools to be a solid wide receiver, but now he needs to hone in on his craft and work on his route running. So he doesn’t have to consistently rely on his physical gifts. He currently has one offer from Temple. [player_tooltip player_id="220095" first="Michael" last="Zarfati"], Middle Township, WR Zarfati has the most diverse route tree in the class and is the best route runner. He has an array of routes run on his tape even some impressive double moves with a solid set of hands. The way he can efficiently get in and out of his routes is second to none in this class.

Half: @MTHSAthletics1 35, Schalick 0. He plays the fastest of any quarterback in this class. His drops are consistently quick and he reads the field fairly quickly. He is a good athlete and can make all the throws from the pocket or on the run. The two parts of his game that stand out are his ability to attack the middle of the field and his play out of structure. As we have mentioned before "smaller" quarterbacks, especially at the high school level rarely attack the middle of the field. Carcich does this with great accuracy and more importantly mistake-free. Secondly, his play-out of structure is some of the best in this class. Shows the ability to know when to run and when to pass. Also able to play a smart brand of football out of structure by doing things such as consistently running out of bounds and protecting himself. Able to make accurate throws down the field while out of the pocket. Carcich is one of the most dynamic players in this class. Passing for 15 touchdowns and rushing for another 11. He is one quarterback who is primed to break out this upcoming season.

Touchdown, Westwood. [player_tooltip player_id="220046" first="Robbie" last="Carcich"] with the six yard keeper. Extra point good. 11:09 to go, Cardinals lead 28-6. pic.twitter.com/AoL6TZePey
— Robert Aitken Jr. (@RobertAitkenJr) September 12, 2021
