As we dive into the 2024 class, we aim to bring you all of the great talents within. This class holds some of the best players in the country, as we release the PrepRedzone 2024 class rankings. Here are the players that made the biggest jumps in the rankings. [player_tooltip player_id="172515" first="Vaboue" last="Toure"], Defensive Back, Irvington Change: 4th overall player to 1st If you need a defensive back who can do literally everything at a high level on the football field look no further than [player_tooltip player_id="172515" first="Vaboue" last="Toure"]. He has the ability to wreak havoc at or behind the line of scrimmage as he is an exceptional tackler in run defense. He also has the ability to fight through blocks and make tackles on screen passes. His play in coverage is something to behold. A ballhawk in zone, able to effectively read quarterbacks’ eyes and grab many interceptions. His play in man is just as impressive. Shows the ability to stay in phase with wide receivers and tight ends and is able to consistently alter the catch point due to good arm length, which results in good ball production. He has all the tools to be a top-flight cornerback or safety, but with the makeup speed that he possesses, cornerback will be his best position, when he reaches college. With offers from Alabama and Notre Dame, we will see him displaying his talents on major college football stages in the future.

@IrvingtonHS_FB defensive back #VaboueToure intercepts a pass thrown by @NHFB_LIVE QB #EnzoArjona #NorthGroup4RegionalFinal pic.twitter.com/MeGm9mPcnX
— InsideThePressBoxEDFS (@InsideThePB) December 5, 2021

[player_tooltip player_id="172515" first="Vaboue" last="Toure"] @VabxToure Class of 2024 6’1 185lbs ATHLETE(Corner/Safety/ Linebacker/RB) Raw talent, lengthy kid, high ceiling! Has good size and build and can make plays out of structure. He has all the arm talent that coaches look for and has the ability to place the ball wherever he wants. He’s the unquestioned QB1 in this class, with offers from Michigan, Wisconsin, and Oregon.

yes this young man is only a freshman at Depaul Catholic, NJ but the coaches love his potential. He can make any throw and can make timely plays with his legs and out of structure. He rushed, passed, and caught touchdowns this past season and amassed over 1,000 yards passing and over 1300 yards rushing on his way to breaking school records. Regarded as one of the best quarterbacks in this class, we need to see him take a step forward as a passer and raise his completion percentage and overall passing yards. However, there is no question that Dietz is one of the best players in this class.

[player_tooltip player_id="174107" first="Connor" last="Dietz"] barrels into the end zone for the 1-yard score. The PAT is blocked and Memorial trails Marlboro 14-6 with 2:47 left in the first half. pic.twitter.com/qrEDewW8mA
— Larissa Forese (@larissaforese) October 15, 2021

Memorial switches it up and has Jake LaRocca get the snap and hit [player_tooltip player_id="174107" first="Connor" last="Dietz"] for the 55-yard TD.
The PAT is no good but Memorial closes the gap and trails Marlboro 28-21 with 5:47 to play. pic.twitter.com/RW4kt96jfj — Larissa Forese (@larissaforese) October 16, 2021
 [player_tooltip player_id="172522" first="William" last="Love"], Defensive Back, Woodrow Wilson Change:18th overall player 9th The best tackling defensive back in this class Wiliam Love is a game wrecker and the most physical player in this class. He has all the tools and physical gifts to be a top-flight safety and has some of the best tape of tackling in space that you will see. He excels at blitzing making plays at or behind the line of scrimmage. He also is the best defensive player when it comes to reading and reacting to different types of plays:

Y’all going to hear my name a lot more!!!!WILLY LOVEEEE pic.twitter.com/rz3Rm5gkGr
— willy love (@iiiamwilly_) December 6, 2021
 He has uncanny range and can make plays all over the field. With as many physical gifts as he possesses, would like to see him make MORE plays in coverage in the form of pass breakups and altering the catch point. As he goes into his junior year we have no doubts that he will become that coverage player that his physical gifts suggest he can be. He currently has offers from Texas A&M, Rutgers, Uconn, Penn State

Where was he going? pic.twitter.com/eltbVESAPZ
— willy love (@iiiamwilly_) October 24, 2021

Where was he going? pic.twitter.com/eltbVESAPZ
— willy love (@iiiamwilly_) October 24, 2021

Can’t wait till the junior season pic.twitter.com/SjWd09YbaF
— willy love (@iiiamwilly_) January 8, 2022
