The class of 2024 has so many amazing athletes. Up and down the board, there is a boundless amount of elite skill, as well as athletes who I have a great feeling will have breakout junior seasons. The following four guys have impressed me during the season, and I trust they’re all putting in the hard work that will show in the fall.

I had the opportunity to watch [player_tooltip player_id= "249823" first= "Elijah" last= "Bush"] during the State Championship, and he impressed me. Bush posted eight solo tackles and three tackles for loss in a great defensive performance for both teams. His pursuit and speed were nice to watch, and you could tell he put work in the weight room. Michigan Collegiate will be quite well next season, and with that, I expect Bush to be better than ever.
Avondale LB [player_tooltip player_id="216988" first="Myles" last="Moore"]
I keep hearing about how [player_tooltip player_id="216988" first="Myles" last="Moore"] is doing all the right things for Avondale. As we all know, much of what you accomplish in the fall depends on how hard you work in the Winter. According to his hudl, he’s 5’11" 190lbs with a deadlift of 425 with a 205 bench. Myles is getting stronger and better every day, and it will pay off for him in the fall. Very excited to see what he’s able to do in the OAA.

I’ve said it once, and I’ll repeat it a thousand times. With the amount of talent Unity Christian is losing on defense, in addition to their coaching prowess and recent success, all signs point to Sparpana playing a significant role in the UC defense. Right now, what stands out to me most about Sparpana is his unrelenting effort. There are countless plays where his effort is unmatched.
[player_tooltip player_id="253311" first="Robert" last="Dedrick"]
Dedrick shined during a few points during 2021 and seemed to get better and better as the season went on. He’s a big-bodied linebacker who can overpower blockers to make big hits and has excellent lateral speed. He had a few breakout games against Zeeland East and Wyoming, both late-season opponents, and performed well against Mona Shores. I love what’s being built at Union, and I’m very excited to see how Dedrick has progressed.
