After having an eye-popping freshman season, Landon Rink Landon Rink 6'3" | 270 lbs | DL Cy-Fair | 2025 State TX ’s stock has skyrocketed. Rink has unique power that double teams have a hard time handling. With good technique and hand placement, Rink is always in control and in position to make a play. The Cy-Fair star has a great floor to work from and has even more room to grow athletically. This offseason he was a standout performer at the Under Armour Power Academy and received high praise from those in attendance. Texas Tech and SMU have offered the powerful 3-tech and many more D1 offers will be headed his way.
WR Biso Bello | 5’10 170lbs | Katy Tompkins
When I came across Katy Tompkins wideout, Bisi Bello, I was instantly impressed. The first thing that popped out was his speed and size. Bello can blow past the defense and offers a lot for coordinators to work with. Predominately lining up right outside receiver, Bello still brought a lot of versatility to the field. With his speed and after the catch ability he was utilized on jet sweeps and receivers screens where he showed his acceleration and shiftiness. Bello also works well on the vertical route tree. His speed and contest catch ability along with his home run hitting ability, make him an intriguing playmaker.
TE Ty Rupe Ty Rupe 6'7" | 245 lbs | TE Conroe Grand Oaks | 2025 State TX | 6’5 205lbs | Grand Oaks
With D1 size and still room to grow, Ty Rupe Ty Rupe 6'7" | 245 lbs | TE Conroe Grand Oaks | 2025 State TX is one of the most polished 2025 TE in the city. Ty Rupe Ty Rupe 6'7" | 245 lbs | TE Conroe Grand Oaks | 2025 State TX has been working with notable trainer, Rischad Whitfield (@Footwork_King) and will continue to improve going into his 2022 sophomore campaign.
QB Joseph Stewart Jr. | 5’10 160lbs | Hightower
Dual-threat Qb, Joseph Stewart Jr. is coming off a strong start to his high school career. His film showed a consistently accurate passer, a solid arm, and an athlete on both the freshman and JV levels. Stewart does a great job of reading the defense and playing with anticipation and hitting his receivers. The ball placement is on point and he places the ball away from the defender. Stewart is a smart passer who doesn’t put the ball in harm’s way often and overall makes plays for his Hurricanes. Stewart is continuing to build off his hot start and will look to compete come Spring ball.
QB Tanner Huckfelt Tanner Huckfelt 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Concordia Lutheran | 2025 State TX | 5’10 155lbs | Magnolia West
Another QB with JV film as a freshman is Tanner Huckfelt Tanner Huckfelt 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Concordia Lutheran | 2025 State TX . With his notable arm strength and accuracy on the move, the Mustangs felt confident in the young man to take over the helm on JV. Huckfelt has clean footwork and is mobile enough to move around outside the pocket. Huckfelt also offers some versatility in the option game with his ability to pull the ball and move the sticks. The Mustangs have 2025 QB talent that will bring the best out of Huckfelt and the whole QB room.
