5 Central Ohio 2024’s Ready to Breakout

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">The critical part of the off season is upon us in Central Ohio.  Every prospect hoping to play big time football will have to work hard this off season to get noticed.  I will detail five rising juniors ready to breakout on the recruiting scene.</span> <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Big Walnut</strong></span> <strong>Garrett Stover</strong> FS (2024) - He is an absolute stud and does a lot of things well.  He can stay on top of the coverage and uses his hips well to cover the deep routes.  Plays through the hands and times the jumps well.  He is a force in the run game and reads plays well.  At FS he is unblockable and gets downhill fast and makes plays.  He has a couple of more off seasons to develop and he will be a next level player. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/11443011/Garrett-Stover">https://www.hudl.com/profile/11443011/Garrett-Stover</a> <strong>Jake Nier</strong> QB (2024) - Jake is only a sophomore and is part of a 2024 dynamic offensive duo for Big Walnut.  He is going to be a stud in Central Ohio and command a lot of attention.  Strong armed and athletic.  Can make a variety of throws deep and intermediate.  He throws with timing and has a quick release.  He makes plays with his legs and can score when he pulls the ball down and runs.  Keep a serious eye on him all year long. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/10935724/Jake-Nier">https://www.hudl.com/profile/10935724/Jake-Nier</a> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="284822" first="Nate" last="Severs"]</strong> RB (2024) - Nate was outstanding this season.  He had close to 2000 yards on the ground.  Nate is a can’t miss prospect from the 2024 class.  He is big, fast, and physical.  He has game changing ability with strong legs and wiggle.  He is the kind of player who can run you over and make you miss.  Nate is one of the best players in Central Ohio. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/11442994/Nathan-Severs">https://www.hudl.com/profile/11442994/Nathan-Severs</a> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="284823" first="Zac" last="Griffith"]</strong> - RB/DB/WR (2024) - Exceptional technique in all phases of being a WR.  Zac was a favorite target of a potent offensive attack this season.  Very good deep threat and routinely can run by DB’s and get open down the field.  Finds the windows and attacks the ball with his hands.  Going to be a player to watch over the offseason. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/10116685/Zac-Griffith">https://www.hudl.com/profile/10116685/Zac-Griffith</a> <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>St. Francis DeSales</strong></span> <strong>Max Shulaw</strong> LB (2024) - Max is a rising star in Central Ohio.  He is technically sound, aggressive, and a good tackler.  He reads plays well and takes his gaps properly maintaining good leverage.  He lockouts with authority and sheds easily.  He is a great blitzer who makes plays and wreaks havoc.  Made a game winning play last night. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/14865486/max-shulaw">https://www.hudl.com/profile/14865486/max-shulaw</a>
