As National Signing Day 2022 inches closer, college teams are offering up players they would like to see suit up for them next fall. While there are many teams looking, there are many kids looking for a place to call home as well. Some kids are either on the fence about playing college football, some don't know if they are good enough, some don't know how to get noticed and some are all of the above. This article mentions a few QB's that are still not committed to a team just under a month away from NSD. Check out who they are!
[player_tooltip player_id="56492" first="Stratton" last="Eppard"]- Chester Area Flyers
[player_tooltip player_id="56492" first="Stratton" last="Eppard"] was my high hopeful for the year. He had been the signal caller as a Junior and put together a good season. With the experience he was bound to have a great Senior season, which is exactly what he did. He had the Flyer offense rolling with nearly 2,500 yards total offense with 35 total TD’s. He utilized his plentiful offensive weapons really well, getting the ball to his playmakers and letting them make plays. He had great touch on his ball with a crisp spiral and could drop it in the bucket. He was also a great runner, patient for his blocks to develop, then accelerated through the gap and had enough agility and vision to get himself in the open field. He had a lot of determination this year which you could see every time he carried the ball. He ran hard and ran through many defenders, and would not go down until the defender earned the tackle and he had gained every yard possible. He was also solid defensively, another strong tackler in the box, but could also make plays in pass coverage as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="56495" first="Tanner" last="Christenson"]- Flandreau Fliers
[player_tooltip player_id="56495" first="Tanner" last="Christenson"] is the ’under the radar’ player. I always enjoy looking at teams who finished under .500 on the season and seeing if there is some talent to be discovered. Christenson fit the mold with his athleticism, speed and playmaking ability. He had great mobility with his pocket presence and scrambled well to keep plays alive and kept his eyes downfield for the big play. His decision making was pretty good on quick decisions and when to run with the ball. His accuracy was stellar on film. He had good touch on the deep ball to hit his guy in stride and had the IQ to throw his guy open on the routes that weren’t open right away. He also shined defensively in pass coverage. He kept up with just about anyone and just made plays on the ball, was also a pretty good tackler as well.

Dylan Kindt- Garretson Dragons
Dylan Kindt is a ’Surprise Gem,’ he is a first year player as a Senior who exploded onto the 9AA scene. He put up close to 1,900 yards total offense and 24 TD’s in his only varsity football season. Kindt was a kid who could zip a ball into tight windows with very tight precision. He could also lead his guy down the field on deep passes too, which also had good accuracy. I liked the way he went through the defensive reads and set his feet to make a throw. He did a good job changing arm angles to make throws quick depending on the route and if he was getting pressured by the defense. He could also run the ball well, not shying away from contact and finishing runs by falling forward. He had a good burst of speed to either extend plays or make some runs for positive gains.

[player_tooltip player_id="149454" first="Blake" last="Schafer"]- Wahpeton Huskies
[player_tooltip player_id="149454" first="Blake" last="Schafer"] had a good season, which is surprising me that he hasn’t mentioned any offers on social media. I liked his footwork, arm strength, and accuracy. He also had amazing poise in the pocket and did not panic when pressured. He made good, quick decisions and did not force the issue on a pass that wasn’t there. He had great pocket presence and stepped up well and extended plays with his legs. He kept his eyes down field and showed his speed when he decided to tuck and run, usually resulting in a big play. Also having good touch on the deep ball, whether he needed to lob or zing it into the window to his receiver.

[player_tooltip player_id="56511" first="Robert" last="Parsons III"]- Grafton Spoilers
[player_tooltip player_id="56511" first="Robert" last="Parsons III"] showed some talent in his film along with poise as well. He was very patient when getting his reads and used his pocket presence very well. He really kept his eyes downfield and stayed patient in waiting for his receivers to become open. He also did great job throwing them open downfield. He had good accuracy in squeezing passes into his receivers. While it is not a popular decision, he threw a good ball back against the grain and found his receivers on the backside of the field.
