December and January are often exciting times for the recruiting trail and here we focus on a few prospects that have been garnering a lot of deserved attention recently!

[player_tooltip player_id="127796" first="Jeremiah" last="Cobb"] has been an electric playmaker for Montgomery Catholic’s offense, and a large reason why they had such a successful 13-1 season last year. As a junior, Cobb was able to grab the eyes of several big-time programs over the course of the season, obtaining offers from Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, and more. In the past week, that has not ceased in the slightest, as he has received offers from Florida State and recent College Football Playoff participant Michigan. If that doesn’t say something about how dominant Cobb is on the field I’m not sure what else would. Expect Cobb to have a massive senior season, with more offers surely heading his way.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="125433" first="Kylon" last="Griffin"]-DB </strong>|6’1 180| |Montgomery Catholic|</span>
Another prospect out of Montgomery Catholic, [player_tooltip player_id="125433" first="Kylon" last="Griffin"], has been on fire recently. Griffin was fantastic his senior season as he showed great versatility when lined up at a variety of positions including wide receiver, safety, outside linebacker, and kick/punt returner. After wrapping up his very productive career at Montgomery Catholic, Griffin made a surprising, yet understandable decision. Having been committed to Mississippi State since late March of 2021, Griffin decided to de-commit and explore his options elsewhere. Teams have definitely noticed his skill set as he recently received offers from Boston College, Clemson, and USC. It’s going to be exciting and interesting to see which lucky team ends up with him!
<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="125501" first="Terrell" last="Jones"]-</span></strong><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">DE</span></strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;"> |6’5 260| |Hoover|</span>
[player_tooltip player_id="125501" first="Terrell" last="Jones"] was a monster on the defensive line for Hoover, constantly making plays in the opposing backfield, which explains the buzz surrounding him. After a productive senior year, Jones had to make a decision as well. Having offers from schools like Memphis, Minnesota, Charlotte, and more, there were a good amount of options to choose from. In November, Jones had decided to take his talents to Illinois the next fall, then, had a change of heart mid-December and made the choice to reopen his recruitment. Since December, Jones has picked up offers from UConn and Virginia, with likely more to come before February. Keep watch on him, because Jones will end up as an impact player for whoever he ends up signing to!
<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Markell Jordan-ATH</span></strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;"> |5’10 175| |Pleasant Grove|</span>
Markell Jordan was a huge asset for Pleasant Grove last fall, lining up and producing well at both running back and defensive back. On offense, Jordan totaled 440 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns, and on defense put up 51 total tackles, 5 pass breakups, 3 interceptions, and one touchdown. Although he did not receive any offers during the season, the offseason has been generous towards him, as he has received offers from Millsaps, Huntington, and Point University all very recently, with more likely to head his way before February. It's unclear which position coaches see him playing at the next level, but wherever he is lined up, Jordan is sure to make an impact!
