Patrick has the ideal frame for the quarterback position and did not disappoint as only a Sophomore in 2021. Seemingly very comfortable in the pocket and against pressure, he has a quick release and a high launch point while delivering the ball with nice zip down the field and can fit it into tight windows vertically. Moving through his progressions patiently, he does a good job at moving defenders with his eyes and is able to throw across his body on a line. Downfield, the ball jumps out of hand with nice velocity and touch and he throws his receivers open and can effortlessly throw 40+ yards from inside the pocket. One of the top quarterbacks in the 2024 class across Northern and Central California, Patrick is a high level FBS caliber player that should field some offers going through his Junior season.
Tanner Wilson, Sunnyside HS
Wilson had one of the most impressive seasons from a Freshman across the entire state passing for over 3,000 yards and another 400+ yards on the ground. A terrific overall athlete, he can make plays with both his arm and legs and will only continue to grow and increase his arm strength as he progresses through his prep career. On tape, he shows excellent football IQ especially for his age and solid pocket mobility with the ability to throw on the run downfield accurately and with good zip on the ball. On the run, he has nice acceleration through the first level and lateral movement skills in the open field while able to break tackles and shows very good toughness and leadership abilities. Able to make accurate throws on both in-breaking and outbreaking routes while also showing natural athleticism, makes Wilson a very intriguing athlete to watch for the coming years.

Bennett passed for 800+ yards during his Sophomore season and is poised to break out in year three at the helm. Throwing well in the short and intermediate game downfield, he is a very athletic signal caller with quick feet and good lateral agility in tight windows while being a true dual threat quarterback. He is able to make plays and extend with his legs while getting the ball out quick and delivering it into tight windows downfield with good spin and accuracy. As he develops, he will continue to be one of the more athletic quarterbacks in the Bakersfield region for the next few years.
