Central Ohio Class of 2022 Updates Volume 4

Central Ohio had an outstanding season on the recruiting front.  Prep Redzone has updated the 2022 rankings heading into the winter home stretch. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Reynoldsburg</strong></span> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="34420" first="Dijon" last="Jennings"]</strong> QB (Akron, 65th in Ohio) - Dijon recently committed to Akron and the Zips got a real good one.  Dijon is a dual threat with his arms and his legs.  He was responsible for some really great wins this year with his athletic and heady play.  He throws a good ball with velocity and fits it into tight windows.  He can really scoot outside the pocket and makes defenders miss.  Very impressive player and will be one to watch in the MAC. <strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Olentangy Orange</span></strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="138565" first="Connor" last="Kemmerling"]</strong> OL (Grand Valley State, 69th in Ohio) - Connor is a tremendous OL and leader.  Orange struggled a bit this season but not because of him.  He has great size, long arms, and is very strong.  He plays with sound technique in the run and pass game.  When he latches on is very aggressive and moves people back into the LB’s.  Almost unbeatable around the edge in the pass game and uses his long arms to keep people off of the QB.  Great pick up north of the border. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Bishop Hartley</strong></span> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="182022" first="Treyvhon" last="Saunders"]</strong> Ath (Uncommitted, 71st in Ohio) - Treyvhon is one of the best players in Central Ohio and will make a college program very happy.  He is athletic and really talented on both sides of the ball.  Plays multiple positions on offense and does a lot of things well.  Has good twitch and wiggle from multiple running back and receiver positions.  He is a very good DB with good technique, speed and balls skills.  If you have a scholarship left you cannot miss with him. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Pickerington Central</strong></span> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="123248" first="Khalil" last="Walker"]</strong> OL (Uncommitted, 77 in Ohio) - Khalil is a very good OL with good size and athleticism.  He blocked for one of the best teams in Central Ohio and stood out.  He comes off the snap low and hard with good punch, technique, and finish.  Has great pass posture coupled with a powerful inside punch.  He moves his feet well with good spacing and power.  Another player who wouldn’t disappoint if you had a scholarship or two left. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Eastmoor Academy</strong></span> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91521" first="Jalen" last="Slappy"]</strong> OL (Marshall, 83 in Ohio) - Jalen is massive.  He stands 6’7 and weighs in at 330.  He is a good football player with great size and athleticism.  He gets his feet moving and DL don’t have a chance.  Plays with good flexibility for a big guy and possesses a powerful punch.  He is very good at the point of attack and gets his hands inside.  Pulls well and dominates at the 2nd level.  He is a good pass blocker with long arms and good footwork.
