<div>There are plenty of diamonds in the rough to be mined from the state’s smaller schools and the back half of the rankings list. Roughly two dozen players ranked 150 or lower in the Prep Redzone 2022 class hail from 1A or 2A schools. We know all about K.Z Adams, [player_tooltip player_id="59467" first="Zack" last="Chalmers"], and players near the top of the rankings. Here’s a look at some guys who deserve some closer attention.</div>
<div></div>

<div></div>
<div>[player_tooltip player_id="91204" first="Lyndon" last="Glover"], OL, Calhoun County - A guard for the Saints, Glover is physical enough to serve as the anchor for the offensive line, and athletic enough to flip to the other side of the field for Calhoun County, recording a 12-tackle game last season.</div>
<div></div>
<div>[player_tooltip player_id="104595" first="Grayson" last="Klue"], RB, Christ Church - Rushed for more than 1,000 yards and averaged more than 10 yards per carry. Led Region I-2A in scoring, rushing yards, and touchdowns.</div>

<div></div>
<div>[player_tooltip player_id="91215" first="Deshawn" last="Singleton"], RB, Williston-Elko - Playing receiver, running back, and safety, Singleton showed a balance of speed, power, and elusiveness, able to break big plays on the offensive side. Defensively, he’s got chase-down ability and is a big hitter.</div>
<div></div>
<div>[player_tooltip player_id="91217" first="Bryce" last="Washington"], DB, Williston-Elko - So much more than a DB, Washington played quarterback, receiver, and running back for the Demons, with 500 yards of offense and four TDs. He had 20 tackles, six pass break-ups and an interception as a defensive back.</div>
<div></div>
<div>[player_tooltip player_id="91222" first="Jacob" last="Osmanski"], WR, Pelion - Osmanski (pictured) is a football player, period. He plays slot, where he runs away from people. He’s played outside. He plays safety, where he’s great in run support and creates turnovers. In his junior season, he played some quarterback. He’s just a dude, in the best sense of the word.</div>
<div></div>
<div>[player_tooltip player_id="91223" first="Roman" last="Wadford"], DB, Timberland - A North-South All-Star, Wadford had 73 tackles, two interceptions, and four pass break-ups, adding a defensive touchdown. He rushed for 735 yards and 11 scores on offense.</div>

<div></div>
<div>[player_tooltip player_id="91240" first="Connor" last="Barton"], OL, Silver Bluff - Barton graded out at 89 percent for the Bulldogs, helping lead an offense that advanced to the 2A state title game.</div>
<div></div>
<div>[player_tooltip player_id="91241" first="Tyler" last="Sonneborn"], OL, Southside Christian - All Sonneborn did was start both ways for the Class A state champions, helping lead an offensive line that paved the way for more than 41 points per game, and a defensive front that helped hold opponents to fewer than 5 points per contest.</div>
<div></div>
<div>[player_tooltip player_id="91245" first="Isom" last="Harris"], QB, C.A. Johnson - Harris has a big arm, and makes big plays. The Hornets took routine deep shots on the strength of Harris’ arm and athleticism, and he’s mobile enough to both keep defenses honest and make them pay.</div>
<div></div>
<div>[player_tooltip player_id="91246" first="Chris" last="Whitt"], LB, Batesburg-Leesville - a fast, physical linebacker, Whitt’s film showcases a nose for the ball and a love for contact.</div>

<div></div>
<div>[player_tooltip player_id="259969" first="Colby" last="Thorndyke"], RB, Green Sea Floyds - There’s nothing fancy and nothing flashy about Thorndyke. He’s just a big, physical, north-south runner who would enjoy running over defenders just as much as running away from them.</div>
<div></div>

<div></div>
<div>[player_tooltip player_id="200750" first="Javon" last="Walker"], OL, Carvers Bay - Walker’s freakishly athletic. He’s 6-4, 315, and light enough on his feet to be a leader for the Bears’ basketball team. On the football field, he was an anchor on both the offensive and defensive lines.</div>
