With attention now turning toward the Class of 2027, the big names at the top of our rankings aren't the only ones worth knowing.

Across the state, several hundred players ranked in the triple-digits are primed for spectacular senior seasons.

Here are 15 rising seniors to keep an eye on, as you could be seeing them vault up the rankings before the 2026 campaign comes to a close.

[player_tooltip player_id='2045815' first='Silas' last='Brawner'] | Pinewood Prep

Brawner transferred from Summerville and led Pinewood Prep to its second straight SCISA Class 3A championship in his first season as a varsity starter, throwing for 3,414 yards and 45 touchdowns against just nine interceptions. He returns a trio of senior receivers next season in [player_tooltip player_id='896094' first='Lavoris' last='Lucas'] [player_tooltip player_id='1821619' first='Heyward' last='Moore'], and [player_tooltip player_id='2045814' first='Tre' last='Green'] - three players who combined to catch 28 touchdowns last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1809307' first='Shaun' last='Carvalho'] | JL Mann

Carvalho was an All-Region I-5A standout, registering 84 total tackles with 59 solo stops. Despite a challenging year defensively for the Patriots, J.L Mann should have a stout front seven in 2026 fellow rising seniors [player_tooltip player_id='1271256' first='Major' last='Workman'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1811027' first='Luke' last='Penland'] will be back, as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1791034' first='Josh' last='Daniel'] | Wren

Daniel was perfect on field goals last season and made 50 of his 52 extra-point attempts. The Hurricanes averaged 37 points per game and return their leading passer, rusher, and receiver, so Daniel should have ample opportunities to show off his leg next fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1772596' first='Chris' last='Dean'] | Emerald

Dean (pictured) was a force for the Vikings, rushing for more than 1,400 yards and 12 touchdowns while tallying almost 2,000 total yards. His performance helped lead Emerald to its best season in eight years and he should be heavily involved in the attack as a senior, having finished fourth on the team in receiving as well as leading the Vikings in return yardage.

[player_tooltip player_id='1603850' first='Kamarion' last='Glenn'] | Belton-Honea Path

Glenn was a stalwart for Belton-Honea Path's dominant defense throughout the season, notching 28 tackles and 11 tackles for loss as an All-Region I-3A selection. The Bears' defense allowed just 10 points per game and appeared in the Class 3A state championship game. Glenn now leads the defensive line after the graduation of [player_tooltip player_id='1592470' first='Kylan' last='Dixon'] and will be counted on to help the Bears' get another shot at a title.

[player_tooltip player_id='1664526' first='Malcolm' last='Gordon'] | Bluffton

Gordon stuffed the statsheet with 130 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, three sacks, and an interception on his way to earning all-state honors. The Bobcats' leading tackler will be needed even more next season after the loss of [player_tooltip player_id='1639730' first='Chris' last='Doyle'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1864194' first='Derrick' last='Velasquez'] and their 149 combined total tackles and 29 tackles for loss last year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1604012' first='Jamar' last='Grissett'] | Irmo

Grissett did a little bit of everything for Irmo, finishing the year with 76 tackles, seven interceptions, seven pass breakups, three forced fumbles, and three blocked kicks. The Yellow Jackets return two of the state's top defensive linemen in [player_tooltip player_id='755914' first='Jaiden' last='Bryant'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1172366' first='Tyrone' last='Jennings'] so Grissett should get plenty of chances to disrupt the passing game of Irmo's opponents next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1404968' first='Jackson' last='Hill'] | Clover

Hill racked up 21 tackles for loss, nine sacks, and two forced fumbles en route to being named a South Carolina Football Coaches Association All-State honorable mention performer. Hill will be the focal point of opposing offenses next season, but should have another strong season up front for the Blue Eagles.

[player_tooltip player_id='1088328' first='Nigel' last='Lightner'] | Rock Hill

Lightner led the Rock Hill secondary as an all-state honorable mention performer. The three-time All-Region III-5A standout tallied 59 tackles, three interceptions, and six pass breakups as the Bears posted their best season in six years. Lightner will lead a talented secondary again that will include [player_tooltip player_id='1809631' first='Connor' last='Clawson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1676087' first='Kamron' last='Wilson'] in 2026.

[player_tooltip player_id='1816751' first='Calvin' last='McCoy'] | Greer

McCoy ran for 1,339 yards and 13 touchdowns, including a pair of performances where he topped 200 yards on the ground. The Yellow Jackets employed two quarterbacks in 2026 and both relied on McCoy out of the backfield as well, targeting him for 23 catches. McCoy should get plenty of touches next season after handling over half of Greer's rush attempts last fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1664521' first='Zirell' last='McKiver-Barker'] | Marlboro County

McKiver-Barker anchored an offensive line that paved the way for the Bulldogs to score 352 points in 2025, the most for Marlboro County in any season since 2015. The Bulldogs ran for over 2,700 yards and McKiver-Barker will be tasked with leading the charge up front and providing protection for rising junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='776240' first='Tre' last='Blakeney'] and his 1,639 passing yards.

[player_tooltip player_id='1816291' first='Trace' last='Selfridge'] | Swansea

Selfridge produced at running back and safety for Swansea as the Tigers marched to their best season in 13 years. Selfridge accounted for eight touchdowns and also notched a pair of interceptions. Selfridge will likely play an even larger role in the offense next season due to the graduation of an all-region running back [player_tooltip player_id='1267270' first='Dante' last='Caldwell'] will be done, opening the door for more carries for Selfridge.

[player_tooltip player_id='1823085' first='Noah' last='Singletary'] | Dillon

Singletary is positioned to become the main ball carrier in the Wildcat offense next fall. With rising sophomore quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1595007' first='Khayel' last='Sam Fong-Talia'] operating the offense, expect Singletary to get plenty of touches as Dillon tries to make another deep playoff run after a third-round exit last season before what appears to be a drop down to Class 2A in the next realignment cycle.

[player_tooltip player_id='763831' first='John' last='Stokes'] | Hammond

Stokes was a wrecking ball up front for the Skyhawks, registering 36 tackles for loss, 16 sacks, and an interception. He was chosen as a first-team all-state defensive lineman and helped Hammond reach the SCISA Class AAAA semifinals. While fellow senior [player_tooltip player_id='1550897' first='Hugh' last='Manning'] will garner plenty of attention, Stokes should have plenty of chances to assert himself in the trenches.

[player_tooltip player_id='1664643' first='Calvin' last='Wofford'] | Crestwood

Westwood was named the Region V-4A Offensive Player of the Year after rushing for 1,357 yards and 13 touchdowns. He averaged almost nine yards a carry in an offense that ran the ball on over 70 percent of its snaps. Wofford is primed to put up big numbers again as a senior.
