South Jersey All- State : Postseason Honors
These amazing athletes made the season very entertaining with big plays. The season was electrifying and was one to remember.
Below are the players who earned First- Team offense and defense in South Jersey.
First -Team Offense
QB: SR., Hamas Duren Hamas Duren 6'0" | 185 lbs | QB Winslow Township | 2022 NJ , Winslow

Mr. Duren had a spectacular year. He was named “South Jersey Sports Weekly’s 2021 Football Player of the Year”. He led Winslow to their first ever sectional title and holds the single- season passing record in school history. Duren finished the year completing 166 of 312 for 2,883 yards and six interceptions. He displayed excellent decision making skills and mobility. In fact, he carried the ball 60 times for 338 yards and eight touchdowns. Duren is currently uncommitted.
RB: SR., Le’Quint Allen , Millville

Mr. Allen dominated this year on both sides of the ball but offensively is where he excelled. He was named the “New Jersey Player of the Year”. Allen excelled on the offensive side rushing for 1,658 yards on 189 carries and 22 touchdowns. He showed he can carry on a heavy load to lead his team to a Group 4 title. He caught 22 passes for 305 yards and four scores. Allen is an aggressive runner with natural athleticism. Allen will continue his career at Syracuse University.
WR: SR., JoJo Bermudez JoJo Bermudez 5'10" | WR Cedar Creek | 2022 State NJ , Cedar Creek

Mr. Bermudez is an electrifying receiver with playmaking ability. He was named the “NJ Offensive Player of the Year”. He caught 91 passes for 1,662 yards and 14 touchdowns. He averaged over 120 yards receiving yards a game and has very good hands. Bermudez does well at running precise routes and he is very sudden in and out of his breaks. He will continue his career at Cincinnati University.
K: SR., Jai Patel, South Brunswick

Mr. Patel the Rutgers commit was 9-12 on field goals and was perfect PAT with 23. Also, owns the school record in touchbacks with 67. His longest made field goal this season was 43 and 40 yards out.
First- Team Defense
DL: SR., Kenny Fletcher Kenny Fletcher 6'3" | DL Delran | 2022 State NJ , Delran

Mr. Fletcher the Rutgers commit was beast this season. He has a high motor that never stops. Fletcher finished the year with 95 tackles, 25 TFL’s, 6 sacks and a forced fumble. Fletcher is vey athletic , as he bends the edge to get to the quarterback. He has great lower body mobility and aggressive hands. He constantly makes his presence felt.
LB: Sr., Damir McCary, Woodrow Wilson
6’0 190
Mr. McCary is the team captain and led his team to their third straight sectional title. He finished the year with 126 tackles, 11.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. He will continue his career at Monmouth University.
DB: Sr., Davison Igbinosun Davison Igbinosun 6'2" | DB Union | 2022 State NJ , Union

Mr. Igbinosun had 74 tackles and three interceptions to lead Union to the playoffs. Unfortunately, their season came to an end due to Covid. Igbinosun is a playmaker. He has a great instincts and a good feel for the game. He decommitted from Rutgers and will announce his decision at the All-American Bowl on Jan. 8 in San Antonio.
