List of senior running backs who had an exceptional year: [player_tooltip player_id="35571" first="Tylan" last="Alejos"]: Topeka High / 5’9 / 190lbs / 4.59 40yd / Twitter: @AlejosTylan In 9 games this year Tylan racked up 1,300+ rushing yards, 1,605 all purpose yards and 18 touchdowns. Tylan currently holds offers from Avila University, Bethany College, Bethel College, Clarke University, Friends University, Ottawa University, University of Saint Mary, Independence Community College and Yuba Community College. Recently schools like University of Central Missouri and Washburn University have shown interest in him. Tylan displays outstanding field vision which allows him to find the open spots in the defense. He also has dangerous cut and juke moves that give him the ability to change direction quickly and escape defenders. In addition Tylan has solid hands and proves to be a reliable target for his quarterback. [player_tooltip player_id="155129" first="Evan" last="Cantu"]: Maize South / 5’9 / 193lbs / 4.53 40yd / 540lb squat / 345lb bench / Twitter: @evancantu22 This year Evan played 10 games and had 275 carries totaling 2,107 YDS, 7.7 YPC, 26 rushing TDs and over 2,500+ total yards this season. Evan has received offers from Friends University, William Jewell College and MidAmerica Nazarene University. Schools like Kansas and Kansas State have shown interest in him and invited him to game day visits this season. Pound for pound Evan is one of the strongest players in the state of Kansas and definitely one of the more physical running backs this year. He is a bruising runner with great steam between the tackles and churns out yards after contact often times forcing multiple defenders to bring him down. He is a high motor player who is constantly breaking tackles. In addition to his power Evan also has great acceleration and is able to hit his top speed quickly. [player_tooltip player_id="155123" first="Roy" last="Moroni"]: Hays High School / 5’10 / 200lbs / 4.5 40yd / Twitter: @roy98603459 During Roy's senior year he carried the rock 141 times for 1,241 yards. He had 17 rushing touchdowns and averaged over 8.8 YPC. He also recorded 8 receptions for 135 yards and two touchdowns. Currently Roy has received offers from Bethel College, Dakota Wesleyan University, Dordt University, Friends University, Mount Marty University and Tabor College. Schools like Fort Hays State, Washburn University and Kansas State have recently shown interest in him. Roy is a one-cut-and-go type of running back that’s powerful enough to get it done in-between the tackles. He shows good burst and acceleration and has legit 4.5 speed. In addition to his speed Roy is strong enough to run through arm tackles. He is also a more than capable pass catcher who can cause dangerous matchups for opposing linebackers and safeties in the passing game. [player_tooltip player_id="159156" first="Max" last="Middleton"]: Andover High School / 5’11 / 180lbs / 3.875 GPA / Twitter: @_Max_Middleton_ Max played a major role for Andover's offense this year. In 9 games he accounted for 1,300 total yards and 12 touchdowns. Multiple D2 schools including Emporia State University, Northwest Missouri State and Pittsburg State University have expressed their interest in Max. Max is a physical runner who is powerful enough to shed multiple tacklers. He always seems to Keep his legs pumping through contact and is able to gain extra yards when available real estate shrinks. He turns corners well, cuts up the field seamlessly and makes defenders miss. Explodes through running lanes and can separate from defenders in open space. [player_tooltip player_id="88868" first="Jovanni" last="Blackie"]: Paola High School / 5’10 /190lbs / Twitter: @jmoneyspeed Despite playing in limited games due to an injury this year Jovanni still put up great numbers during his senior campaign. This year Jovanni had 166 carries for 1,226 yards averaging 7.3 YPC and 8 total touchdowns. Jovanni has received offers from Coffeyville Community College and Independence Community College and should be on more schools radars. Jovanni shows efficient movements as far as his jump cuts and cut-back ability. Big time production and is built to carry the load. He's very good between-the-tackles hole-puncher and cutback runner. Extremely hard runner who is always falling forward and gaining additional yardage. Be sure to follow @jcmeyer22 regarding news & information for Kansas High School Football as well as @PrepRedzoneKS. Want to be ranked?
