#PRZTN Feature: Winter Showcase Preview

The high school football season is officially over, which means the offseason is here and everything kicks off Sunday in Murfreesboro, Tennessee at Oakland High School for the #PRZTN Winter Showcase. Prospects from all across the state are coming to the Middle Tennessee area tomorrow for what is looking like a big turnout, full of talented football players ranging from this senior class all the way down to the freshmen. We are also expecting several prospects in attendance from out of state, so this camp, combine is turning out to be a great spot to kick off your college recruitment by performing well and putting yourself on the map. Offense Looking at the prospects from the offensive side of the ball, we are expecting some serious talent on Sunday, especially from the quarterback position where several high caliber prospects will be performing Among those expected to be at Oakland High School includes [player_tooltip player_id="185570" first="J.D." last="Sherrod"] from Briarcrest, [player_tooltip player_id="150308" first="Jack" last="Risner"] from Blackman, Charles Robinson from Knox. Besides the quarterback, the collection of offensive line expected to be at the #PRZTN Showcase is possibly the strongest group of all on offense with some guys already sitting with college offers. Lebanon teammates [player_tooltip player_id="102231" first="Eli" last="Freeman"] and [player_tooltip player_id="225975" first="Aidan" last="Donald"] are both college offered prospects that will be looking to take that next step in their recruitments, starting on Sunday. Along the D-line, we have a youth movement headed to the Showcase with four guys in particular that stand out and I’m excited to see them perform in person. Those four are [player_tooltip player_id="207305" first="Evan" last="Briggs"] from Upperman, [player_tooltip player_id="219418" first="Garrett" last="Hagan"] from Houston, [player_tooltip player_id="207303" first="Barry" last="Peter"] from Stewarts Creek and rising sophomore from Father Ryan, defensive end [player_tooltip player_id="149299" first="Ryan" last="Robinson"]. Looking at the linebackers, there are some exciting prospects headed to Murfreesboro, including three from the East Tennessee region. [player_tooltip player_id="201081" first="Jackson" last="Steele"] from Carter, [player_tooltip player_id="201083" first="Eli" last="Denton"] from Walker Valley and [player_tooltip player_id="150378" first="Peyton" last="Cooper"] from Maryville are three highly active, tackling machines that could all find themselves on the college level one day. Steele is a big time athlete with size and can run, so it will be interesting to see him for the 1st time in person compete against other top talent. These two have already placed themselves within the Top 20 in-state defensive backs and both should explode on the offer scene soon.
