#8 Cody Nash | Fruitport | Hudl
Nash has a strong lower body and showed a great ability to break tackles. Fruitport loved to bring Nash in motion and pitch the ball to him so he could get to the outside. Cody Nash gets off the line of scrimmage quickly and is great at getting open on go routes. I love to watch him block, he gives tremendous effort and is always looking to drive the defender completely out of the play. Nash’s effort blocking shows that he is a true team player and is willing to do whatever it takes to get his teamate in the end zone.
#3 Patrick Sterrett | Charlevoix | Hudl
When watching his highlights, Sterrett’s athletic ability really stands out. He has really good quickness and is always looking to make a big play for his team. Sterrett is great at manipulating defensive backs and separating at the right time. Patrick Sterrett was very productive for his team this season. On the year, he had 50 receptions for 962 yards & 14 touchdowns. Sterrett is great on defense as well and is able to use his great hands to bring down interceptions.
#7 Wyatt Nausadis | Traverse City St. Francis | Hudl
Nausadis is so good at catching the football and then quickly accelerating and picking up yardage. He has good size and strength and usually makes several defenders have to get him down. Nausadis shows great route running ability and always has great awareness of where he is on the field. Wyatt Nausadis also lined up in the backfield and rushed the ball very effectively all season. St. Francis having a player like him is a true luxury and they will be sure to get him as many touches as possible next year.
#1 Semaj Morgan | West Bloomfield | Hudl
West Bloomfield is a great high school football program and is always has great talent on their teams. Semaj Morgan is another big-time player from their program. Morgan was very productive in 2021 for his team, hauling in 61 receptions for 1,015 yards and 13 touchdowns. Morgan shows off his athleticism in his highlights when he came down with a one-handed sideline catch. He is so good at manipulating defensive backs by getting them to freeze and then proceeding to run by them. Morgan has tremendous acceleration and is great at creating big touchdown runs nearly every time he gets the ball in the open field.
I will be definitely be looking forward to watching these receivers play next year. All these guys are great athletes and it is awesome to see how them impact their team in so many ways. Players like this on offense are so hard for defenses to stop and are the reasons many teams end up finding their way to Ford Field at the end of the season.
