Central Ohio 2023’s to Watch – Volume 7

Central Ohio had a very good 2021 campaign in terms of talent. Heading into the off season I will detail the top players to keep an eye on.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Westerville Central</strong></span>
#84 <strong>Sidney Thompson</strong> WR (2023) - He is all over the stat sheet in 2021and had a great year. Sidney is tall and athletic with great hands. Runs precise routes and has the ability to take the top off the defense. I was really impressed with his ability to go up and get the ball. Even with a new QB under center making his first starts this year, he was able to catch everything thrown his way.
#13 <strong>Grant Glaser</strong> QB (2023) - Grant had the tall task of taking over for Judah Holzclaw and did a fine job all year long. He was in command of the offense all season. He is athletic with the ability to run. Throws a tight ball with good accuracy. Has a good arm to get the ball down field. It will be great to watch him this offseason.
<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Westerville North</span></strong>
#29 <strong>Jakob Puster</strong> NG (2023) - Jakob is a tough NG with good ball get off and block destruction. Has a quick first two steps and gets up the field fast. He has a good punch with violence and sheds blocks sufficiently. He is a a good pass rusher with a good rip move. Going to be a force from the middle next season.
