Central Ohio had a very good 2021 campaign in terms of talent. Heading into the off season I will detail the top players to keep an eye on.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Pickerington North</strong></span>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="92628" first="Dawaun" last="Green"]</strong> RB (2023) - Dawaun is the best player on offense and commands a lot of attention. Should be getting offers coming out of his junior season. I am really impressed with is wiggle and toughness. He stands 6’1 and weighs in at 218 pounds. He is a load to tackle and couples that with open field wiggle. He has next level speed and pulls away from the defenders in the open field. Can score everytime he touches the ball.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Berne Union</strong></span>
#12 <strong>Nate Nemeth</strong> QB (2023) - Nate is a stud. He is very athletic and a gamechanger. He throws a nice ball and can make all the throws. He pulls it down and has the athletic ability and wiggle to score on any play. Tough football player who is hard to tackle. Keep an eye out the rest this offseason.
<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Olentangy Liberty </span></strong>
<strong>Alex Okuley</strong> WR (2023) - He is a very athletic WR into the boundary and can beat you on the tunnel screen with wiggle and over the top with his speed. He is tall and has great leaping ability. He attacks the ball in the air and accelerates quickly into the secondary. Alex is a heck of a 2023 prospect.
