Northridge
#77 James Kalas DE (2023) – James has a big presence each game from the DE position. He is tall and muscular and really gets after it. He is quick off the snap and gets to lockout quickly. I am impressed with this toughness and block shedding. He is a good pass rusher and bends well back to the QB. He is a smaller school player to keep an eye on this off season.
#24 Brody Booher MLB (2023) – Brody is a tackling machine. He is the leader of the defense and you have to account for him. He does a nice job of getting to his gaps and taking on blocks. He is a good reader of plays and stays patient throughout. Pass drops well and is very adept at closing the space quickly. He is also a player to keep an eye on in the 2023 class.
Worthington Kilbourne
Nash Biglin QB (2023) – Nash stands 6’4 and weighs in at 205. He is quickly becoming a rising star in the 2023 class. Excellent dual threat QB with good arm strength and speed when he pulls it and runs. He reads plays well and does a good job of pulling when he has too. I am really impressed with his ability to fit the ball into tight windows and make full field reads. Keep a good eye on him over the next few years.
