Roosevelt WR Chase Cline Chase Cline 6'3" | 190 lbs | WR Wyandotte Roosevelt | 2024 State MI
Cline is a great receiver who racked up a ton of catches, totaling 23 catches for 238 yards on the season. Although the yardage doesn’t seem incredible, 23 catches is a great number of catches for anyone, and Cline does have a high ceiling. He was a great red zone threat and was able to win lots of 50/50 balls, with being a decent route runner with decent speed.
Edsel Ford OL/DT Josh Williams
Standing at 6’0″ 245lbs, Williams makes for a great offensive lineman and fits the prototype of run-stuffer perfectly on D. Williams sports great power and is a brick wall in the way of any opposing defender, showing decent fundamentals. On defense, he’s a hard-hitting lineman that sheds blocks well and is able to apply pressure.
Anderson QB/LB Chase Barbosa Chase Barbosa 5'11" | 190 lbs | ATH Anderson | 2024 State MI
Barbosa did it all this past season, playing quarterback while making big plays on defense. The lefty QB was excellent at extending the play and being elusive in the pocket, all while not panicking. He throws a good deep ball that is accurate. Defensively, Barbosa was a versatile linebacker who could play coverage, blitz, or even line up on the line. Barbosa was an incredibly impressive player this past season and its going to be exciting to see what he can do in 2022.
Lincoln Park LB Nahshon Williams
Williams was a bright spot in an otherwise bad Lincon Park team. His highlights show a fast sideline-to-sideline linebacker that has high awareness and is not afraid to hit. I was previously unfamiliar with Williams and his tape is a bit sparse, though his highlights show tremendous potential.
