Ian Andriesen | Old Tappan
Andriesen averaged 27.8 yards per catch as he caught 6 passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns in Old Tappan’s 52-34 victory over Morris Knolls. He’s a strong route runner who knows when to break a route off and sit down in the zone. He does a nice job setting up defensive backs and breaking the route off to the sideline. He scored on touchdown passes of 12 and 57 yards.
Joshua Richards | East Orange
Richards is a 6-foot-4, 180-pound junior who proves to be a matchup nightmare for smaller defensive backs. He showed good body control and the ability to highpoint the ball and outjump the defender. He has long strides that allow him to pull away from the defense. He helped East Orange to a 35-0 victory over West Side as he caught five passes for 149 yards and three touchdowns. He scored on touchdown passes of 21, 25 and 42 yards.
Marcus Peterson | Notre Dame
Peterson had a big night as he caught 7 passes for 127 yards and one touchdown. It was the first time Peterson broke the 100-yard mark this season as his strong performance wasn’t enough as Notre Dame fell to 8-0 Nottingham 34-28. His lone touchdown came on a 31-yard catch and run in the second quarter.
Quiyon McMillan Quiyon McMillan 6'2" | 185 lbs | ATH Nottingham highschool mercerville nj | 2023 State NJ | Nottingham
McMillan was a ballhawk in Nottingham’s 34-28 victory over Notre Dame as he hauled in 13 catches for 127 yards. Although he didn’t find the endzone, his strong performance helped Nottingham keep drives alive and pick up a big victory to remain undefeated. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound junior is a sure-handed receiver who has good concentration in traffic. He caught a number of passes off hitch routes and showed good yards after the catch ability.
Charly Mullaly | Peddie
Mullaly is a repeat top performer as he’s one of Frankie Farmer Frankie Farmer 6'2" | 210 lbs | QB Peddie | 2023 State NJ ’s favorite targets. This past weekend he caught 9 passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns in Peddie’s 56-21 loss to the Hun School. Mullaly is a crisp route runner who does a good job creating separation. He showcases good body control and soft hands.
