From high-powered offenses that can dominate with their passing attack to option-based offenses, there’s a bit of everything in the district which allows for a wide variety of players to emerge from the district as well.
That being said, it’s quite a big district that has a large talent pool, meaning no matter how hard we try, chances are that we still have not ranked or discussed each and every player that is deserving. While we can’t guarantee players will be ranked in our next rankings or those who are ranked will move up to a certain spot, we can guarantee that all these players’ films will be reviewed and discussed in terms of our upcoming ranking updates.
This past week, District 11 just had a handful of games being played, meaning there weren’t too many players to choose from for our stock risers. Interestingly enough, all our stock risers in this article are players who are currently not ranked including three 2022 prospects.
Matt Frame | 5’11, 215-pounds | RB | Northern Lehigh | 2022
Northern Lehigh put up 64-points against Palmerton last week and Frame was a huge reason for their dominating effort offensively. The senior running back rushed for over 300-yards and two touchdowns on just 20 carries. With that effort, he officially went over the 1,000-yard mark on theC season for the second-straight season.
Brady Evans | WR | Williams Valley | 2024
The sophomore wide receiver had a big game in Wyoming Valley’s 28-13 win over Tri-Valley with six receptions for 108-yards and two touchdowns. Evans this season has eclipsed the 100+ yard mark four times this season and has done so now back-to-back games. He also has 12 touchdowns on the season for the undefeated Vikings.
Cade Christopher | ATH | Northwestern Lehigh | 2023
Northwestern Lehigh’s 2021 season came to a disappointing end last week in a 21-14 loss to Allentown Central Catholic but Christopher had a big day. The sophomore athlete totaled 234 all-purpose yards in the game including 82 rushing yards. He finished the season with 1,316 total yads and 1, 866 all-purpose yards.
Jared Groller | LB | Emmaus | 2022
Groller was a huge reason that Emmaus defeated rival Parkland last weekend 21-14, recording two sacks and a touchdown while also blocking and recovering a punt.
Bobby McClosky | QB | East Stroudsburg South | 2022
McClosky has flown completely under the radar but after his performance this past weekend against Whitehall, that’s no longer the case. The senior signal-caller, had 283 passing yards, 142 rushing yards, and six touchdowns on the evening in East Stroudsburg South’s big victory.
