OHIO 2022’s

Most high school seniors have already played in their last game of the season, but many are still battling for the almighty state title in the playoffs. As the playoffs continue to heat up, so does recruiting as college coaches are starting to find those hidden gems that will show up on film. Here are a few Seniors that should get a second look.

[player_tooltip player_id="177966" first="Alexander" last="Lowery"] - OL - Elyria

Lowery is very physical at the point of attack. From his LG position, his coaches loved to pull him as he manhandled DE’s regularly. Zander has a lot of upside on the offensive side of the ball at the next level; Lowery will excel as an interior lineman. Coaches can expect to get a very productive college athlete, given his strength as 18-year-old

Zaden Abuhamdeh - LB/RB - North Royalton

"Z" is one of the most underrated linebackers in the state of Ohio. His ability to avoid blockers and make open-field tackles shows his knowledge of the game. Abuhamdeh is also a two-way player and can run the football pretty effectively as well. Back to defense, he has improved his speed and lateral quickness, which has helped him tremendously this season as he makes many tackles outside of the box. He enjoys making contact, and that is a mark of a beast.

Colin Pierce - WR - Hudson

Pierce is a burner; let’s get that out of the way. He scored ten touchdowns in his senior year and caught over 40 passes. When you look at the film, he shows his ability to read coverages during his routes, taking a good understanding of the position. Colin is also a hands catcher, who coaches at the next level will like to consider as that is a skill sought after in the expansive receiver room. I will be following his recruitment closely over the next few months and provide updates too. Solid college prospect with SPEED!

Adam Diaz - QB - Shaker Heights

Diaz has the athletic ability to play several positions at the college level. The first thing that stands out is his ability to accelerate from a stand-still position. The two-threat at QB also has good touch on the ball, which college coaches will like. It’s hard to project where he will land, but the team that lands him will have exceptional talent and a considered hidden gem. Adam’s skill at changing directions is one of the best talents that he has.

Ryan Farrell - DE- Medina

Farrell has been a dominating force for the Bees all season long. Ryan decided to get his weight up in the offseason, and it sure has paid off. With over 30 tackles and four sacks on the season, he has become a key component on this State title-contending team. Farrell has received attention from FBS and FCS school all season long, but as the ride continues, more eyes will be watching this talented prospect.
