Final 8, Class 1A Quarterfinals: Prospect Spotlight

The final 48 teams are set in the PIAA playoff tournament. The final 8 in Class 1A are loaded with talent. Underdogs, powerhouses, and dark horses are among all class brackets. Lou Castaldi out of Old Forge is an honest oversight. This kid is not only talented to the untrained eye, but he’s also clearly talented to the trained eye as he is pretty heavily recruited as of right now. Violent finisher, ton of pancakes seen in just three or four games watched. Incredible drive and motor, easily a top 25 offensive lineman in his class. That’s easily said. Cooper Kitchen is a name I’ve heard thrown around when discussing Canton HS. There is hardly any real film to review so a spot on the rankings is a big reach. I do see some special runs in a run-heavy unorthodox offense Canton is running.
