Central Ohio had some great performances this past Friday night. I will detail them below.
Upper Arlington
#1 Sam Cannon, WR 5’8 155 (2022) - Sam caught 4 passes on Friday and three went for TD’s. He finished the night with 71 yards. One of the better athletes in big school ball in Central Ohio. He is a quick and athletic and makes the tough catches. He runs really good routes and sits down in open zones. He wins the 50/50 ball easily and can outjump defenders. Keep an eye on him the rest of the way.

Marysville
[player_tooltip player_id="92623" first="Colton" last="Powers"] RB (2023) - Had 9 carries for an astonishing 206 yards and three TD’s. Colton is a tough, downhill runner and does a good job of bursting through the gaps. He is a tough tackle and gets the hard yards when needed. He is very capable of playing at a really high level. Give him a great look going forward.

Big Walnut
Garrett Stover FS (2024) - Had 10 tackles on Friday night vs a very good Massillon Team. He is an absolute stud and does a lot of things well. He can stay on top of the coverage and uses his hips well to cover the deep routes. Plays through the hands and times the jumps well. He is a force in the run game and reads plays well. At FS he is unblockable and gets downhill fast and makes plays. He has a couple of more off seasons to develop and he will be a next level player.
