Here are a few things we learned from gameday performances to recruiting and new prospects.
<strong>Steelton- Highspire QB [player_tooltip player_id="64022" first="Alex" last="Erby"]</strong>
With Erby’s performance on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021, he became Steelton’s all-time passing leader. He had 256 yards and 3 touchdowns to pass it. The former record was set in the late ’80s with 4,351 career passing yards. The way Erby has been playing, he could get 10,000 or close to it by the end of his senior season.

<strong>Plum RB [player_tooltip player_id="66052" first="Eryck" last="Moore"]</strong>
Moore, who is our 3rd, ranked running back in the 2023 class, had a slow start to this season, but he is starting to pick it up. According to Maxpreps Friday, he had 21 carries for 112 yards and two touchdowns. In the first 3 games, he only rushed for a total of 150 yards with zero touchdowns. In the last 2 games, he’s recorded 220 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns. I hope he continues this hot streak.

<strong>Dallastown Wide Receiver [player_tooltip player_id="87844" first="Kenny" last="Johnson"]</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="87844" first="Kenny" last="Johnson"] finally received his first Power 5 offer from Penn State. Johnson is our 1st ranked WR in the 2023 class. Johnson transferred from York Suburban to Dallastown High School. In his 6 games, he’s gotten 31 receptions for 667 yards and 5 touchdowns. It’s only a matter of time he’ll start receiving more P5 offers.

<strong>West Allegheny Freshman to Watch</strong>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="209027" first="Brock" last="Cornell"] </strong>is someone I just happened to stumble upon last week. He plays safety but could see him being a hybrid linebacker. He has good size. He reads and reacts well who shows quickness and speed. He is physical and a hard hitter. Kid makes plays all over the field. According to Maxpreps, he’s recorded 56 total tackles, 28 solo, 3 tackles for loss, and 1 interception. Really interesting freshman and kind of fun to watch.
