For the second time this year, Del City ran away with the game against Mid-Del rivals. Which means once again the scouting report is deep with talented and physical playing Eagles to highlight. Let’s get to it.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="61130" first="Jayson" last="Smith"] - 2022 RB/LB</strong></span>
After two viewings this season, one thing is evident. Smith loves the contact aspect of the game. As a runner he delivers blows to break tackles. While as linebacker, he is nasty when he finds the ball career. In the second quarter, a high motor pass rush ended with him forcing a big fumble that led to more points for his team. With his combination of strength and "want to" he is a formidable foe on the gridiron.

<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="38778" first="Kanijal" last="Thomas"] - 2023 WR/DB</strong></span>
Playing against run heavy teams, Thomas might not get to often show the ball skills of a D1 DB recruit. But since this is high school, he gets to make plays on offense as well. His first quarter touchdown that was highlighted in the game recap was evident of his game breaking ability. He also showed the explosiveness on a similar route in the second quarter that set up a late field goal to end the half.

<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="110735" first="David" last="Stone"] - 2024 TE/DL</strong></span>
The first player among a promising group of sophomores that deserving highlighting is arguably the best sophomore in all of Oklahoma. Stone continued to show very impressive agility for a player his size with the way he flew around to clean up plays. While also still being a load up front, often commanding double teams and he still makes play through them. Don’t believe me? Just check the video below and the way he fights through the double to stonewall the running back.

<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Braylon Adamah - 2024 WR/DB</strong></span>
Another speedy defensive back, Adamah got his name on the board with a big second quarter interception. He showed good ball skills to track it. And impressively got both feet down in bounds.

<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Aaron Carter - 2024 LB</strong></span>
Feeding off the physical nature of the Eagles defense is this sophomore linebacker. While still physically developing, so he might not be able to lay the wood quit like the elder Smith, Carter is an active hunter on the defensive side of the ball. He recorded a sack and was around the ball all night.
