PrepRedzone Top Midwest Performers: 10/8/21

Back at it again! I have absolutely loved writing these weekly features for our PrepRedzone Midwest subscribers and am stoked to be back with our seventh edition of this series focusing on the top individual performances from athletes and prospects all around the Heartland of the United States. We've seen some crazy stat lines and personal efforts so far in 2021, and this week is no different as we have found multiple 400+ yard passing productions, two seven TD games, a 25 tackle performance, a 52-yard successful FG, and a couple of 400+ yard rushing attacks, plus many more eye-popping statistics from last week's games. Hudl: Week 7 Carl Henry (Legacy, ND) 2023. Week 7 against Minot the junior rushed for 107 yards and 2 TDs. Hudl: vs. Minot HS Illinois Jordan Anderson (Joliet Catholic Academy) 2022. The Illinois commit finished his night against Brother Rice with 27 carries for 320 yards and 6 TDs in a huge Chicagoland matchup. Luke Jelderks (Chicago Christian) 2022. Recorded 304 rushing yards and 4 TDs and added 45 passing yards and a forced fumble on defense. Hudl: highlights Jon Buckley (Carmel Catholic) 2022. Tallied 4 receptions for 102 yards and 2 TDs against Marmion Academy. Hudl: vs. Marmion Academy Dylan Carlquist (Hersey) 2022. Posted 9 catches for 142 yards and 3 TDs in a win against Wheeling High School. Hudl: vs. Wheeling Wyatt Bohm (Mahomet-Seymour) 2023. Threw for 398 yards and 3 TDs against Richwoods High School. Hudl: vs. Richwoods Ryan Sims (Marist) 2023. In his Week 7 game the junior made 7 catches for 150 yards and 3 TDs. Hudl: Allen Middleton (Mascoutah) 2023. Totaled 3 receptions for 145 yards and 2 TDs as well as a rushing TD. Video: Luke Woodson (Deerfield) 2022. Put up 225 yards and 3 TDs and added a fumble recovery on defense. Quincy Hall (Mascoutah) 2023. Caught 4 receptions for 178 yards and 2 TDs. Hudl: Week 7 highlights Jahari Scott (Lake Forest) 2022. Rushed 22 times for 240 yards and 2 TDs. Hudl: Week 7 Max Reese (Fenwick) 2022. Caught 5 passes for 122 yards and 3 TDs in a half of play against St. Patrick. Hudl: vs. St. Pats Keegan Glover (Benton) 2022. The stud QB went 20-24 for 269 passing yards and 2 TDs and finished with 338 total yards and 4 TDs, plus an interception on defense. Video: Indiana Colin Price (Zionsville) 22022. Went 16-16 for 278 yards and 4 TDs and became the SAC career passing leader with 6,215 yards. Hudl: vs. South Side Mason Reynolds (Avon) 2024. Had a massive game against Zionsville and posted 404 total yards and 4 passing TDs and added a rushing TD for good measure. Hudl: Mason Sheron (Leo) 2022. In his Week 8 performance he put up 7 touches for 303 yards and 4 TDs and added a 2pt conversion and a sack. Hudl: Week 8 highlights Chrishon McCray (Avon) 2022. The Kent State commit posted 230 receiving yards on 12 catches for 4 TDs and also passed for a TD. Video: vs. Z'Ville Tyson Garrett (Roncalli) 2022. Had a stellar defensive effort against Cincy Elder with 14 tackles and 2 interceptions. Hudl: Week 8 Iowa Watts McBride (Cedar Rapids-Washington) 2023. In his Week 7 matchup against Newton the junior recorded 128 yards rushing and 3 TDs and added 7 tackles, a TFL, and 1.5 sacks. Hudl: vs. Newton Nolan DeLong (Durant) 2023. Against Mediapolis, ran for 260 yards and added 12 tackles on defense. Hudl: highlights Nile Eddy (Waukee) 2024. In three quarters against CBAL the sophomore put up 14 carries for 157 yards and 2 TDs in a 33-11 win. Hudl: vs. CBAL Brady Miller (North Polk) 2023. Posted 18 carries for 136 yards and 2 TDs against Ballard. Hudl: vs. Ballard Riley Reynolds (Spirit Lake) 2022. Went 11-17 passing for 146 yards and 3 TDs. Hudl: Week 7 Jacob Heier (Humboldt) 2022. Against Gilbert High School the senior caught 4 passes for 52 yards and 3 TDs. Hudl: vs. Gilbert Caeden Janssen (Cedar Falls) 2022. The Upper Iowa commit caught 4 passes for 127 yards and 3 TDs. Against #1 ranked Andover Central the senior went 16-22 for 286 total yards and 3 TDs. Rushed for 238 yards and 5 TDs. Hudl: vs. Highland Park HS Nolyn Cunningham (Hutchinson) 2022. Had a stellar defensive performance against Salina South and recorded 10+ tackles, 2 sacks, and 2 interceptions, one of which he returned for a TD. Hudl: versus Salina South Karsten Mckee (Pleasanton) 2023. Rushed for 208 yards and 4 TDs, returned a kickoff for a TD, and recorded 12 tackles and an interception on defense. Michigan Cephus Harris (Chippewa Valley) 2022. The Youngstown State commit broke his school's record for TDs with 7 and scored on rushing, receiving, and kick return TDs. Hudl: vs. Grosse Pointe South Donovan Weatherly (L'Anse Creuse) 2023. Against Fraser High School the junior totaled 5 receptions for 112 yards and 3 TDs and also recorded an interception on defense. Hudl: Week 7 highlights Kevin Gorney (Clintondale) 2022. Versus Hazel Park the senior had 4 catches for 111 yards and 3 TDs and also tallied 5 tackles, a TFL, and an interception on defense. Hudl: vs. Hazel Park Quinn Fracassi (South Lyon) 2022. Recorded 4 receptions for 62 yards and a TD, added a passing TD, and recorded 3 interceptions on defense. Tallied 20 carries for 141 yards and 2 TDs and 10 tackles on defense. Hudl: vs. Brimley Hunter Ames (Grand Blanc) 2022. Went 7-12 passing for 175 yards and 4 TDs in a half of play against Heritage High School. Hudl: vs. Heritage Taj Williams (Livonia Churchill) 2022. Passed 26 times for 15 completions to total 266 yards and 2 TDs through the air. Also added 126 rushing yards and a TD against Fordson High School. Hudl: vs. Fordson Minnesota Emmett Johnson (Holy Angels) 2022. Rushed for 416 yards and 5 TDs in a win over St. Louis Park High School. Hudl: vs. St. Louis Park Andrew Karls (St. Cloud Apollo) 2022. Had a monster stat line against Delano and went 20-35 passing for 246 yards and a TD and added 23 carries for 151 yards and 4 TDs, tying the school record for single-game TDs. Hudl: vs. Delano Mitchell January (Richfield) 2022. Passed for 311 yards and 2 TDs and added 2 rushing TDs SMB. Hudl: Game 6 Clayton Kosel (Lakeview) 2023. The junior posted 88 yards rushing and 3 TDs and added 2 interceptions on defense against Yellow Medicine East. Hudl: vs. YME Gavin Quade (Moorhead) 2023. Playing against Elk River the junior went 24-38 for 232 yards and 3 TDs. Hudl: vs. Elk River Marcus Freeman (Park Center) 2022. Passed for 236 yards and 5 TDs in only a half of play against Minneapolis Washburn. Hudl: vs. Washburn Sanjay Redd (SMB) 2022. Totaled 28 carries for 256 yards and 4 TDs against Richfield High School. Hudl: vs. Richfield Missouri  Jackson Smith (Holt) 2022. Totaled 15 receptions for 165 yards and 2 TDs and rushed for a TD against Troy-Buchanan. Hudl: vs. T-P Mark Patton Jr. (Bayless) 2023. Rushed for 230 yards and 3 TDs last Friday. The 6'3 wideout caught 4 balls for 165 yards and 2 TDs against Pacific High School. Hudl: vs. Pacific Josh Baker-Mays (Duchesne) 2023. The junior went 5-6 passing for 117 yards and 3 TDs against Bishop DuBourg.  Cooper Brown (Holt) 2022. The senior stat monster went 27-38 for 338 yards and 3 TDs and has led his squad to a 7-0 record. Hudl: vs. T-P Jackson Overton (St. Dominic) 2023. In his Week 7 game against St. Francis Borgia the junior had 12 carries for 118 yards, 3 catches for 94 yards, and 4 total TDs. Hudl: Joseph Vick (Center) 2023. Against Odessa went 24-33 passing for 468 yards and 5 TDs and added 2 interceptions on defense. Video: Nebraska  Max Perry (Lincoln East) 2022. Recorded 25 tackles against North Platte High School. Hudl: vs. North Platte Luke Greisen (Lincoln East) 2022. Playing against North Platte, the senior recorded 203 receiving yards and 3 TDs and added 7 tackles on defense. Hudl: Game 6 Kolten Tilford (North Platte) 2023. Had a complete stat line against Lincoln East as he totaled 10 carries for 156 yards and a TD and added 10 tackles and an interception on defense. Hudl: vs. Lincoln east HS Luke Johannsen (Bellevue West) 2022. Went 15-19 passing for 296 yards and 3 TDs and rushed 8 times for 34 yards and a TD. Hudl: vs. Millard West Kytan Fyfe (Grand Island) 2022. Completed 13 passes on 22 attempts for 205 yards and 2 passing TDs and added 14 rushes for 188 yards and another touchdown.  Hudl: vs. Millard North Koa McIntyre (Archbishop Bergan) 2022. Went 8-10 passing for 168 yards and 5 TDs against Tekamah-Herman.  Drew Erhart (Palmyra) 2024. Erhart went 13/20 completions for 196 yards and 4 passing touchdowns. Ohio Te'Sean Smoot (Springfield) 2022. Went 16-19 passing for 197 yards and a passing TD and added 4 rushing TDs against Centerville High School. Hudl: vs. Centerville Trevor Van Horn (Green) 2022. In a 28-0 win against Perry the senior went 22-31 for 224 yards and 4 TDs. Hudl: Bryce Schondelmyer (Arcanum) 2023. Passed for 349 yards and 2 TDs and rushed for a TD in his Week 8 of Arcanum's season. Hudl: Week 8 Dylan Rolfert (Roger Bacon) 2022. Went 4-4 on FGs and recorded a new career long with a successful 46-yard FG. Also was 3-3 on PATs. Hudl: vs. Purcell Marian Ty Howard (Euclid) 2022. Had a monster game and recorded 202 rushing yards and 5 TDs as well as 15 tackles, 4 TFLs, and 2 sacks. Hudl: highlights Kyle Snider (Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) 2023. Posted 15 carries for 155 yards and 3 TDs, went 1-1 passing for 27 yards, made 6 tackles, and recorded 2 punts of 52 and 56 yards against Orrville High School. Hudl: vs. Orrville Levi Gullion (Piketon) 2022. The QB passed for 191 yards and 6 TDs and also put up 5 carries for 69 rushing yards. Hudl: vs. Adena Dijon Jennings (Reynoldsburg) 2022. Went 21-31 for 395 yard and 5 TDs. The senior stat monster posted 192 passing yards for 2 TDs, 176 rushing yards and 3 TDs, and added 7 tackles on defense. Hudl: vs. New Holstein Brady Foster (Waukesha West) 2023. In a Week 8 win against Waukesha South the junior QB went 14-20 for 227 yards and 3 TDs and forced a fumble on defense. Hudl: vs. WSHS Gavin Jarchow (Cumberland) 2022. Posted 18 receptions for 172 yards and 4 TDs as well as two 2pt conversions and added 13 tackles on defense against Bloomer High School. Hudl: Michael Karlen (Stanley-Boyd) 2022.
