Although I'm a bit late, check out which Midwest athletes had themselves a heckuva Friday night performance on October 1st and were named a <em>PrepRedzone </em>Midwest Top Performer for their efforts. I am pumped to bring this sixth edition of this weekly series and am happy with the response from our lovely subscribers, so let's not waste any more time and get to the standouts from the great states of North and South Dakota, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, and Wisconsin! These performances included an 8 TD, 7 TD, and multiple 6 TD performances, as well as a handful of 20+ tackle performances for the defensive loving readers. The 9man prospect posted 235 AP yards and 2 TDs against <em>Park River/Fordville-Lankin/Valley/Edinburg. </em> <strong>Will Matson </strong><em>(Oldham-Romana-Rutland, SD) </em>QB. 2022. Against <em>Colman-Egan </em>the senior went 11-15 passing for 263 total yards (215 pass, 48 rush), six total touchdowns (5 pass, 1 rush), also converted 2 two-point conversions. <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">Illinois</span></span> <strong>Dylan Carlquist</strong> <em>(Hersey) </em>WR. 2022. Against <em>Rolling Meadows </em>posted 9 catches for 154 yards and 2 TDs. <strong>Chris Perez </strong><em>(Depaul Prep) </em>QB. 2022. Completed 25 passes out of 42 attempts for 360 yards and 3 TDs. <strong>Alessio Milivojevic </strong><em>(St. Francis) </em>QB. 2024. Went 14-16 for 287 yards and 3 TDs in a half of football. <strong>Trenton Taylor </strong><em>(Dupec) </em>RB. 2022. Posted 17 carries for 194 yards and 2 TDs against <em>St. Teresa. </em> <strong>Jon Buckley </strong><em>(Carmel Catholic) </em>WR. 2022. Totaled 9 catches for 193 yards and 2 TDs against <em>St. Patrick. </em> <strong>Trystan Anderson </strong><em>(Buffalo Grove) </em>DL. 2022. Recorded 8 tackles, 4 sacks, 3 TFLs in a win against <em>Elk Grove. </em> <strong>Aiden Cyr </strong><em>(Hoffman Estates) </em>QB. 2023. Threw 15-19 for 324 yards and 5 TDs in a win against <em>Fremd. </em> <strong>Braylon Peacock </strong><em>(Champaign Centennial) </em>ATH. 2022. Against <em>Bloomington </em>had 7 catches for 121 yards and 2 TDs and added an interception on defense. <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">Indiana</span></span> <strong>Kyle Turanchick </strong><em>(Oak Hill) </em>RB. 2023. In his Week 7 matchup against <em>Frankton </em>he rushed for 254 yards and 4 TDs. <strong>Lavarion Logan </strong><em>(Merrillville) </em>RB. 2022. Totaled 22 carries for 185 yards and added 4 catches for 36 yards and 4 total TDs. <strong>Danny O'Neil </strong><em>(Cathedral) </em>QB. 2024. Went 22-38 for 347 yards and 4 TDs, <strong>Tyler Adkins </strong><em>(Martinsville) </em>QB.  Threw 25-27 for 299 yards and 6 TDs against <em>Perry Meridian. </em> <strong>Spencer Porath </strong><em>(Brownsburg) </em>K/P. 2024. In a win against <em>Zionsville </em>the sophomore was 4-4 on FGs and 4-5 on touchbacks on KO. <strong>Trey Gibson </strong><em>(Hobart) </em>ATH. 2023. Recorded 287 rushing yards and 5 TDs. <strong>Brody Glenn </strong><em>(Bishop Luers) </em>WR. 2022. Had 6 catches for 130 yards and 4 TDs against <em>Bishop Dwenger. </em> <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">Iowa</span></span> <strong>Tade Parsons </strong><em>(Wapello) </em>QB. 2022. At <em>Highland High School </em>the senior went 15-25 passing for 317 total yards and 3 TDs and added an interception on defense. <strong>Alex Manske </strong><em>(Algona)</em> DB. 2025. Against <em>Gilbert High School </em>the freshman posted 9.5 tackles and 2 interceptions. <strong>Carson Blietz </strong><em>(Cedar Rapids-Kennedy) </em>QB. 2022. Passed for 262 yards and 5 TDs in a win over <em>Cedar Falls High School. </em> <strong>Landon Hochstein </strong><em>(Norwalk) </em>QB. 2023. In a win against <em>Indianola </em>the junior QB went 26-33 for 297 passing yards and 3 TDs and added 88 rushing yards and 3 more TDs. <strong>Caden Matson </strong><em>(Humboldt) </em>QB. 2022. The ultra-productive stat monster went 14-15 passing for 209 yards and 2 TDs and added 30 carries for 240 yards and 4 TDs in a 52-31 win over <em>North Polk. </em> <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">Kansas</span></span><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"> *stats provided by Santino Bernal of <em>PrepRedzoneKS</em></span></span> <strong>Tyler Alejos </strong><em>(Topeka) </em>RB. 2022. In a big 71-42 win over <em>Highland Park </em>the senior posted 25 carries for 400 yards and 8 TDs. <strong>Xander Newberry </strong><em>(Argonia/Attica) </em>QB. 2022. Against <em>Pretty Prairie </em>the senior QB went 11-11 for 328 yards and 6 TDs and added seven carries for 44 yards and a TD as well. <strong>Braxton Lafferty </strong><em>(Little River) </em>ATH. 2023. The 8man stud rushed 21 times for 309 yards and 5 TDs against <em>Canton-Galva. </em> <strong>Wyatt Drouhard </strong><em>(Chaparral) </em>QB. 2022. In a win over <em>Garden Plain </em>Mr. Drouhard went 24-34 for 364 yards and 6 TDs. <strong>Memo Flores </strong><em>(Southwestern Heights) </em>LB/RB. 2022. Against <em>Lakin </em>posted 23 total tackles and added 186 yards rushing on offense. <strong>Rodrigo Sanchez </strong><em>(Southwestern Heights) </em>LB. 2023. Against <em>Lakin </em>recorded 20 tackles and 2 forced fumbles. <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">Michigan</span></span> <strong>Jacob Sanders </strong><em>(Farmington) </em>RB. 2022. Tallied 235 yards and 3 TDs against <em>H.H. The ultra-productive athlete broke his school's single-game rushing record with 18 carries for 346 yards and 4 TDs. <strong>Cooper Drews </strong><em>(Princeton) </em>QB. 2023. Against <em>Albany </em>threw for 450 passing yards and 5 TDs and was also 2 for 2 on 2pt conversions. <strong>Nate Litke </strong><em>(Spring Lake Park) </em>RB. 2022. Tallied 5 carries for 133 yards and 2 TDs and added 13 tackles on defense. <strong>Jayden Homuth </strong><em>(Burnsville) </em>WR. 2022. The 6'5 receiver recorded 3 catches for 139 yards and 2 TDs against <em>Park High School. </em> <strong>Takhi Vaughn </strong><em>(Eden Prairie) </em>RB. 2022. Rushed 11 times for 208 yards and 2 TDs against <em>Prior Lake High School. </em> <strong>Logan Orvedahl </strong><em>(Moose Lake-Willow River) </em>RB. 2022. Posted 12 carries for 242 yards and 3 TDs against <em>Mesabi East. </em> <strong>Charlie Coenen </strong><em>(Chanhassen) </em>WR. 2022. Against <em>Robbinsdale Armstrong </em>the senior wideout made 7 catches for 192 yards and 2 TDs. <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">Missouri</span></span> <strong>Josh Baker-Mays </strong><em>(Duchesne) </em>QB. 2023. Was 12-12 for 163 yards and 4 TDs against <em>St. Francis Borgia. </em> <strong>Wentric Williams III </strong><em>(Liberty) </em>RB. 2022. Totaled 21 carries for 219 yards and 3 TDs against <em>Rock Bridge High School. </em> <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">Wisconsin</span></span> <strong>Trevion Carothers </strong><em>(Racine Park) </em>RB. 2023. Posted 33 carries for 240 yards and 4 TDs against <em>Tremper. </em> <strong>Cole Berghorn </strong><em>(Badger) </em>RB. 2022. In a 42-27 win against Westosha Central the senior tallied 20 carries for 222 yards and 4 TDs and added a sack on defense. <strong>Keany Parks </strong><em>(Bradford) </em>ATH. 2022. Against in-town rival <em>Indian Trail </em>posted 14 carries for 149 yards and 3 TDs. <strong>Robby Michael </strong><em>(KLC) </em>QB. 2022. The 2021 stat monster threw for 181 yards and 3 TDs and rushed for 260 yards and 3 TDs and posted an interception on defense against <em>Chilton. </em> <strong>Gus Theisen </strong><em>(Eau Claire Regis) </em>RB/LB. Against <em>Mondovi, </em>recorded 10 carries for 123 yards and 3 TDs and added 8 tackles and 2 forced fumbles on defense. <strong>Alex Eichmann </strong><em>(Sussex Hamilton) </em>WR/DB. 2022. The standout senior posted 6 receptions for 124 yards and 4 TDs and added a defensive TD and 4 tackles. <strong>Nigel Cheeks </strong><em>(Whitefish Bay) </em>RB. 2022. Went 16 for 198 and 2 TDs against <em>Cedarburg High School.</em> The film is fantastic. <strong>Nate Kollath </strong><em>(Sussex Hamilton) </em>QB. 2023. Passed for 271 yards and 5 TDs in a 41-14 win over <em>Brookfield Central. </em> <strong>Jackson Flottmeyer </strong><em>(Aquinas) </em>QB. 2023. Completed 10 passes of 11 attempts for 236 yards and 4 TDs. <strong>Jahquan Redding </strong><em>(Greenfield) </em>ATH. 2023. Posted 6 receptions for 181 yards and 2 TDs and added 4 tackles on defense against <em>Wisconsin Lutheran. </em>
