Bol Bak – Lawrence – QB – 6’0″ 183 lbs
Friday was my first time watching Bak and he looked really good. He’s a great athlete and is best on the move. He can throw on the run which keeps the defense honest as well. He torched the defense all night. He only had 4 incompletions on the night and just over 200 scrimmage yards. He added 61-yards on the ground and 2 TDs on the air to match his 4 TDs through the air.
Gavin Bunning – Centreville – RB
Bunning is Centreville’s workhorse and he’s able to maintain a big workload. He rushed for over 100-yards on Friday and he made it look easy. He has great vision and finds the cutback lane every time he’s given the ball. He also added 67-yards through the air. He proved to be a threat out of the backfield and it stretched the defense thin. He added a TD on the night and the Bulldogs got the win.
Dylan Carper – White Pigeon – RB – 5’11” 177 lbs
Carper was fantastic on Friday. He ran all over Leslie and there wasn’t anything they could do about it. He carried the ball over 20 times and put up just under 170 rushing yards and 2 TDs. He looked really good. He seemed hesitant early in the game on some of his reads but after he found his groove he started balling out. He helped White Pigeon get the win on Friday.
Jack Davidson – White Pigeon – RB – 5’10” 180 lbs
It’s hard to mention Carper without bringing up Davidson and those 2 together were a machine on Friday. Davidson is more of the speed back and someone they like to have bounce to the outside. If he gets the corner, watch out because he’s gone. Davidson alone put up 196 rushing yards and 2 TDs. The running game was insane on Friday and these 2 looked incredible.
Cole Dean – Parchment – QB – 5’9″ 155 lbs
Dean is a great dual-threat QB who made the defense pay on Friday. Everything he did was working and he never slowed down. He was comfortable on the run so they kept him moving. Whether it was a designed rollout or a run they kept Dean moving and the defense couldn’t stop him. He had 5 TDs through the air and broke the Parchment in-season passing yardage record. He also added 90-yards on the ground as he guided Parchment to an easy win on Friday.
